Very professional - staff included. Glad he was my surgeon. He removed a large mass from.one.of.my kidneys with great success. Follow up care was execrptional. Thanks much. Rls 73 years young.
I am a 20 year old female going to college at temple u. I am not from the area and have no family here. When my problems with kidney stones got to bad to ignore anymore I made the choice to persue the temple hospital. Over the phone it was very easy to see Dr Reese and I was brought in the same week. Within a week of that I was in surgery to remove my kidney stones which went very well. Dr Reese was kind to me and didn't give me time to agonize over my anxietys, as a young woman dealing with this alone that made things easy. I had my stent in for over 2 weeks which was unpleasant but needed and when I went in to have it removed the procedure was all but painless.
My opinion of Dr Resse is that he is a kind and ring doctor who took the time to explain my cancer so I would understand. He ordered several tests which were all negative but he insisted I get a cystoscopy because if the other tests come back negative this must be done so he can go into the bladder and take a look. That is when he found my cancer and a few weeks later I was scheduled to have my procedure done and that is when the small low cell cancer was removed. I caught it very early. If he did not stress the importance of this test I would not have gotten this uncomfortable test done. But I am very thankful. I am younger than most people who get this type of cancer and I am a woman. It is more common in older men so when they found it I was shocked but he took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions as well as he listened to what I had to say.
Don't let him tell you that you will die of something else before you die of prostate cancer like he did my husband, who is now at stage 3 because this doctor did not take his lump in his prostate seriously enough or advice my husband to have follow up PSAs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
