Alan David Haber's Online Review Report Card

Having not felt well for a number of years now, I most certainly have seen my share of physicians. One of my chief complaints over the years was exhaustion. I don’t mean the kind of exhaustion that comes from having a busy, productive day. The exhaustion I speak of here restrains you from showering, dressing, locks you to your bed or sofa. Physicians I have seen used the term “chronic fatigue”/fibromyalgia. Unfortunately for me I think these physicians had it in their minds that here I was, dressed and in front of them so how bad could it be. Now its true I have lupus, also very damaged lungs and have been treated for a lung cancer. The exhaustion has indeed progressed over time but so has the damage to the lungs. Henceforth, I started to feel the lack of breathing was quite possibly the culprit. Because of the spot on my lung, I was referred to Fox Chase and subsequently to Dr. Haber. What a remarkable, amazing physician this man is. He spent a great deal of time with me on our first encounter asking all about my health and lifestyle. Then he suggested some tests, most notably a sleep study, which would encounter a night and next day at the hospital. No one had ever mentioned this in the past and while no one ever wishes to spend time in the hospital, he seemed more than confident this was the route to take go get the answers needed. So I checked into Jeanes. A couple days later at 9 P.M., I received a call from Dr. Haber. Let me also say that back in 1984 I had lost my twin brother to cancer . That was also the last time any physician had ever contacted me at such an “off” hour. Dr. Haber was calling to let me know the sleep study had shown I had narcolepsy. But the biggest part of all this was the word TREATABLE. It’s now a couple/few months from that diagnosis. The only days spent in bed or on the sofa are rain days. I take walks with my granddaughter. TV dinners are a thing of my past life. I cannot say enough about Fox Chase. Everyone I’ve encountered at this facility has been awesome. A remarkable team of people that are dedicated to ensure anyone who steps through their doors will get the very best of care from them. Truly a team effort is how I am where I am now. Physicians like Dr. Haber show what an incredible team they’ve managed to assemble. Thank you so much, Dr. Haber and G-d bless you all. Your patient, Judie Davis

Dr Haber shows the utmost interest in your problems. He is very proactive about your treatment. He does everything to help you stay healthy and moniters your care.

Dr Haber has been treating me for about 2 years, He is Kind, consideratte, and knows how o deal with a patient that has severe problems. Who sold FC this dreadful program? I was just trying to say that I have found Dr. Haber to be both very wise & excellent at answering questions (even though they must be tedious to listen to). I'll bet he could simplify the software & more patients would respond. Or is this Gordian Knot part of my test?

Dr. Haber is kind, intelligent, compassionate, and extremely professional. Ive been a patient of Dr. Haber's for several years, and I've always been impressed with his personality, medical knowledge, and his authentic, natural ability to relate not only to his patients, but to his staff as well. Dr. Haber is a dedicated physician. He is kind and caring, and is deeply devoted to understanding not only the science and medicine, but patient care. He has been such a bright spot in the care of my father who is being treated for Asbestos related lung Cancer. He knows not only the lungs, but the industry. He makes my Dad feel understood. This is no small thing. From early morning to late night he is available. 100% pleased.
