List of Andrew Poulshock's Reviews
I been going to dr Poulshock for years and he’s the most pleasant kind Doctor. He listen to your issues and makes sure it’s solved. His receptionist that’s at the front desk with the wig she doesn’t make it feel welcoming when patients comes in No hello,, no sign here, she’s like a lil mute until her own kind comes in, then she Comes alive, She really needs to work the back office something other then the front desk. Now SHARON she’s one of my favorites she takes time out to help you with ANY ISSUES YOUR HAVING she’s been there for a long time over 30 years she’s very professional. The scheduler who makes the appointment also is a nice person. Overall this is an awesome Dr. the wait is long because he takes the time out with each individual patient. I only gave it a 4 star because of that receptionist. I giving them a five star now as of now because i haven’t seen the person that was making it a four star in a while. 5 Star now.
DR poul Shock and Sharon is very good peoples, I know them years, over 30 years. it is very hard to find a good dr. that cares. think you dr. poul shock
had a telehealth appointment on 1/12 at 2:00pm to talk about my high blood pressure. was never sent the reminder/confirmation appointment. when i called the office that day, I was told I would get a text when the DR was ready with the link to get into the session. It is now 1/18 and still haven't heard from the DR. IT's just as bad waiting in the actual office as that wait to get back for your appointment with over 3 hours (prior to the pandemic). Very unprofessional! Glad it wasn't an emergency or I would be sitting in the ER.
Unless your appointment is at opening. Expect to be seen 120 minutes, minimum, after your supposed appointment time.I have seen people leave the office due to excessive wait times. It's ridiculous. Main doctor goes on vacation for months at a time. Wouldn't be a problem of you weren't Sol for prescriptions. "Go to urgent care" should not be a response. Nurses are miserable half the time. I stopped going some time ago, but my grandfather still comes here. Trying to get him to switch.
Seriously ? Office sent a letter to a long time patient who is fighting cancer that they will no longer see him since he followed up with surgeons instead of primary. If your looking for an office that doesn’t care but wants your money this ones for you!
Worst doctor's office in northeast Philadelphia....had to wait 2 months to get an appointment...was told to goto Urgent care...went to Urgent Care and had to goto a specialist and get surgery...finally get to my appointment...arrive on time and had to wait over 4 hours before finally walking out without seeing anyone...was told there was 10 people ahead of me...the staff are not friendly or professional...never in my life have I had an experience like this...no star review...IF THIS IS YOUR DR OR PCP CHANGE YOUR DOCTOR OR GOTO URGENT CARE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
Dr. Poulshock was my fathers pcp and never took out the time to see him after he got sick. The receptionists were not any help in getting him seen and always turned him away. His optometrist saw him for a regular visit and ordered some blood tests. The results weren't good and he tried to make an appointment with Dr. Poulshock but was told to go back to the doctor who ordered the tests. As soon as my dad changed pcp, he was immediately sent to the ER and admitted to Penn Medicine. Hes been dealing with high fevers and chronic coughing for months and dr. Poulshock only prescribed medication instead of taking the time to see him and try to find out the real issue. Thanks to Penn Medicine's amazing doctors, nurses and techs, he is finally getting the proper care he needs.
Wonderful doctor
Dr. Poulshock is a great doctor that doss not rush you out like some doctor's and he is caring about his patients. I had to switch doctor's because the wait to see the doctor has always been at least three hours! If you have the time, he's a good doctor but I just cannot sit at a doctor's office for that long.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Poulshock and Sharon since I was an infant and I am now 25 years old! This doctor’s office is great! Dr. Poulshock and Sharon are both sincere about there patients! Main reason why I haven’t seen anyone else!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
