Hello,I am responding to the review written about me. First, I am sorry that you did not receive the service you expected. I am certainly not a CBT therapist though I do use strategies from CBT as needed in an integrative approach. I am definitely psychoanalytically grounded as a therapist and look for the deepest layers to effect lasting change.  Although I have treated thousands of individuals with varying issues in my 30+ years of practice as a licensed psychologist, I specialize in trauma and dysfunctional family issues. We do have CBT providers in our large multicultural practice. I would encourage you and others to inquire about seeing one of them so you can have the experience that you want. There are multiple issues with this clinician and the practice overall.Dr Brown is cold, curt and only interested in pushing her agenda.  After multiple in-take appointments there was no actual therapy provided, after my specifically asking for CBT, only an article she found on a nearby desk -- in a magazine that she had not read, but suggested this may be helpful.  Furthermore the billing staff is incompetent and continues to send out notices despite being paid in full by insurance. There is not an ounce of compassion, or apology coming from Dr Brown or the staff.  Best to find another competent caring place.

After our visit with Dr. Browne, we will most certainly not be returning to McGee. Her bedside manner was absolutely offensive and we have never experienced such a lack of compassion from a doctor in our three plus years taking care of a family member who suffered from stroke. She could not provide us with any resolutions to our issue or even a recommendation other than a careless "I don't know." I would not recommend wasting your time with this doctor.

Dr Browne is an outstanding Physician ! If you are in trouble, you have serious spinal cord injury or need other serious Physical Rehab, There is no one better then Dr. Browne ! Make no mistake, she can be a tough non-nonsense Dr.Sometimes she's even a bit cold or stand offish. . . but that's just how she gets you to succeed beyond most other Doctors expectations! She cares deeply about All Her Patients Drand works very hard for each an every one of them.
