I had an ablation by Dr. BACIK IN March which was successful. No more afib. The staff at Jefferson Torresdale was top notch. One overnight stay in ICU. Very appreciative. Terry Cullison, RN, MSN (former ICU nurse)
Dr. Bacik is the best! He helped me with my A-Fib! He did the procedure and everything went perfect! Thanks for your time and effort you put towards my Health! I highly recommend Dr. Bacik! Such a Professional!!!
Dr. Bacik happened to be on duty the night I was admitted, through the E.R., to the hospital. Intermittently, during the next three days, he spent a great deal of time teaching or explaining to me about my condition. Dr. Bacik recently performed my ablation. He, plus his team, was understanding to my needs, FEARS and were oh so wonderful before, during and after the procedure. Dr. Bacik is kind, caring, funny, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, capable. So glad to be in such clinically sound hands.
Doctor Bacik took time to explain my condition and answered all my questions! Took ample time with me and never felt rushed! Highly recommend him...very professional.
I woke up while my pace maker was being put in and the good doctor was telling a joke to his assistants instead of paying attention to what he was doing. It turns out the pacemaker had the wrong settings from the get-go. Then when he later visited me in the hospital he proceeded to put his crusty shoe on my hospital bed to ties his shoe. He thinks he is "all that" and people will put up with his dog-poop encrusted shoes on their somewhat sterile sheets in the hospital. Dude should keep his jokes for outside of the OR and think more about sanitation than he thinks about how great he thinks he is. Probably bottom 10% of his class.
I was with my brother at Aria (Jefferson) on Knights Rd in NE Phila. Dr Bacik entered his room and proceeded to place his foot on top of the bed to tie his shoelace. This was the most unhygienic thing I have ever witnessed a Dr do in a hospital setting. This incident is being reported to the Board of Health. While taking precautions to reduce infections, this supposed trained professional actually put his foot in a dirty shoe on the patients bed. This leads me to believe this practice is not a clean and sterile environment to have any type of procedure performed. This happened on Wed. Sept 12, 2018.
Dr Bacik is a good guy and doctor, but his nurse Cheryl is horrible at what she does, she is very rude, ignorant and pushy. She never returns phone calls and either does the staff at his office. Very unprofessional rude and ignorant. Tell you one thing and never follow through. Ive been trying to get this office to fill out important paperwork for me for 3 weeks and still nothing. I would go to Jefferson for a good heart doctor.
Dr. Bacik is my fathers cardiologist. I would strongly recommend him to others in need of his service. He is very professional and down to earth at the same time. My father was recently admitted to Aria Torresdale for high blood pressure and during the stay it was discovered he had a tumor on his brain. Dr. Bacik did an excellent job at summarizing in layman's terms the Neurosurgeon and Oncologists findings to us. It is very apparent he cares deeply for his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
