We had our first appointment with Dr. Aggarwal in July 2020. My father had newly diagnosed lung cancer and although he was completely asymptomatic a tumor was discovered in his right lung. Dr. Aggarwal prescribed a combination therapy of chemo and immunotherapy. We had many questions and reservations about immunotherapy because of my Dads age but was very quickly reassured that this combo therapy is the standard of care and chemo alone is no longer offered because outcomes are better with the combo therapy. We were told the side effects are very minimal if any and less than 10% of the population have any. We were told he wouldn’t even lose his hair and we were anxious to get started. After my Dads one and only full treatment that July he never had another good day. He passed away in less than 3 months spending his final 2 months of life in the hospital on a ventilator. He was diagnosed with immunotherapy induced Guillain- Barre’. We saw Dr. Aggarwal once before treatment and spoke to her 2 more times during treatment of the phone and that was it. Once my Dad was hospitalized we never heard from her again except for a brief phone meeting I arranged. My Dad has been gone 1 year and we have yet to hear from Dr. Aggarwal or anyone from her team. Devastated by this care is an understatement. Do your research!

Dr. Charu Aggarwahl was very kind and took as much time as needed to explain things to patient. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She treated patient as they were part of her family.
