Great doctors and nurses. They care about your children well being
I thought my appt was 9am so I got here at 9am. The line to check in took 30mins. When I get to the front she says your appt was at 8:45am. If that’s the case I would of still been able to be seen (15mins after) but the line was literally down the hall and out the exit. She tried to give me another appt for 10/24 then magically found one for 9/19..I’m transferring my daughter to another office this is disgusting.
The physicians are great but the Admin team is horrible and rude
Muy buena atención
Parking is hard to locate as it's actually on Haverford Ave but nice people at the entrance with lots of security.
Why is it my son is seen by a different doctor every visit who doesn't seem to know what's wrong? My son clearly has strep throat. Why was he given Flonase. He left the doctor still in pain. Requested and took my son for a strep swab the next day. They said it was negative, so i took him to er outside the chop umbrella. They did a swab that came back strep. The staff comes off rude as well. They used to be good but are terrible at offering adequate care and customer service.
My eldest child is 25 yrs old and he was going to Karabots when he was about 6. I have 3 other younger boys who are currently seen there. I've tried to keep them there but trying to get an appointment with their doctor is impossible now. They are always seeing the first available dr which makes no sense when they have a primary one. They never have weekend or late appts anymore. They always tell you a time and day to call, which is like fighting for concert tickets: hoping you'll get that golden day and time. This is chaotic. Years ago their service was something to brag about, but not anymore. After 20 years, I'm taking my children somewhere else. So long Karabots!
The Doctor and Nursing Staff is phenomenal. The administrative side of the office is trash. They are very rude and impatient. I needed a piece of paper faxed…. Something that takes thirty seconds and I have been waiting for three days now. It DOSENT matter that I have a seriously I’ll child who’s currently sick. I was told it could take 25-72 hrs to send a fax. Then told on another call the next day that it could take up to five days.
I love this place. My kids been going here since birth. Great care no long waits.
Karabots are so inconsiderate. I have two daughters that have a heart disease. Because of their heart disease their immune system is very low. Because of their health it’s hard to keep a job because I’m always at doctors appointments. I am currently at CHOP Karabots stuck looking for someone to help to get home. I knows I should of went to the main building to get the help I need. Social work at Karabots is not hospitable at all. I’m a single mother and it’s hard. I do my best with my girls. Social work is supposed to help families. The social worker Rashida here is so mean. Do she have kids? Have she ever fell on hard times? Like how you come tell a mother of two that y’all told me to come in because of my daughter being sick and because of her heart disease she needs to be seen but you tell me you can’t help me because this is not a emergency. I’m done with this office. I’m looking for my daughters to go to another office because this is not what I expected. Also the social worker handed me a bus pass knowing I have a car seat when Dr Elliott wrote in documentation that my daughter can’t get on public transportation because of their heart disease.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
