I have been privileged to see Dr. Jih for several years. Smart, pleasant, efficient yet thorough. Highly recommend.

Curt; may not know all she claims; would never use again

I called the practice to make an appointment and Dr Jih was suggested to me as she was available at the right time. Then I read the reviews on here and got quite nervous. But my experience at my two appointments with her was overwhelmingly positive. First, I was seen fast and all the staff were courteous. Dr Jih herself was pleasant and seemed to care. She was very efficient, but I didn't feel rushed, and I felt I was given time to ask questions and air my concerns. The nurses were perhaps a little brusque, but I've never met a nurse who wasn't. I assume everyone else on here is telling the truth as they experienced it, but I can only say that my experience was excellent. Perhaps she's worked on her bedside manner. (One other possibility: I'm British, so maybe she's just more reserved in a way that appeals to Brits, but rubs Americans up the wrong way.)

Dr. Jih was remarkably unprofessional. If you can see a different doctor, I recommend that you do so. My experience with Dr. Jih was unpleasant and unhelpful. She seemed to only care about getting in and out and not truly giving advice of any sort. Only go to Dr. Jih if you are in a huge hurry to leave and are not seeking any real medical attention.

Dr. Debra Jih did not seem very courteous nor knowledgeable. My experience with her was awful and I highly recommend seeing a different doctor if possible. As other reviews have mentioned, she is really not interested in helping her patients. She did not speak with me about treatment options or side effects. It seemed as though she knew the options and side effects but did not find it worth her time to discuss them. Seriously avoid this doctor if you can.

I would recommend her to my friends and family. She was very courteous and knowledgeable.

I went to Dr. Jih for a few concerns. She must have spent only 5 minutes total with me and I felt very rushed. She did not even turn on the exam light or use the magnifying glass that most dermatologists use to examine their patients. I was very disapointed. She also stated for one of my concerns that she had no solutions - and then rushed out the door. I did not feel that she was willing to spend the time to be comprehensive in the examination or consultation at all. Not recommended if you want a Dr. who is willing to take time to really help you.

After already a very long wait in the waiting room, I wait over 50 minutes in the examination room (why didn't someone explain to me the delay??). I should have left and billed them for MY time. Dr Jih spent less than 8 minutes with me. When my biopsy came back (the results were benign), she should have told me that the removal of my mole was unwarranted, but took it out anyway--I guess my money was more important than proper ethics. ~Fuming

I came to Dr. Jih with several conditions...after waiting 45 minutes to be seen she told me flat out that she didn't have time to address all of my problems. One, pretty bad condition I was told to address at my next visit, which she then advised me should be two months away! She then went over what she was going to prescribe but completely ignored calling in any of the prescriptions I had requested refills for. If she had bothered to take an extra minute to confirm what she was calling in to the pharmacy I could easily have told her what she was over looking. I was then told when I made my next appointment that in the future she would only be available on Wednesdays...what kind of care or continuity are you getting when a doctor only shows up one day a week? This was easily one of the worst office visits I've ever had in my life!

I have never been so rushed in my life! I have several skin conditions and was told to wait to discuss one of them at my next visit which she then proceeded to tell me to schedule for two months away! My questions seemed to annoy her, she forgot to give me prescriptions for 2 medicines and told me that some of my symptoms made no sense...one of the worst doctor visits of my life and I've had many!
