List of Dina L Halegoua-Demarzio Md's Reviews
My brother had an appointment with this Dr. He had been waiting a few months to see her. The day before appt, they cancelled his appt...didn't call to say it was cancelled....and the reason they gave his primary is they suddenly don't accept his insurance. But the day before appt, he checked in online and it said his insurance was approved. Who would do this so close to appt not to mention not notify him AND he had waited months already for liver Dr? I would give this practice zero stars if I could. It's always about the money. Shameful practice.
Too many good things about her, as I had her as.my liver specialist since 2003.
Dr. Halegoua is the best. She saved my life. Very understanding, a professional. And listens to her patient first hand. And she knows her profession very well.
She is the most caring, thoughtful, thorough, skilled Doctor. She takes the time to address all of your concerns. I feel fortunate that she is my Doctor.
Dr. Halegoua- DeMarzio is an excellent doctor with profound knowledge and expertise. She is alway flexible and explains EVERYTHING in a way that is easy to understand. She has helped me to have better health ans for that I am so grateful.
I participated in clinical trial ran by Dr. Marzio. This is not the same doctor with 5 star reviews. She failed to disclose very important things about trial. After 6 months in my trial she removed me for failure to appear for required appointment. Decision was solely hers as drug company sponsoring trial allows for doctor discretion in accomodation for covid. Apparently this doctor has no problems scheduling televisits for patients but she would not do it for me. She refused to have end of trial televisit with me while i told her about number of health issue i am having with investigational medicine she gave me. I find it strange that doctor with 10 years of experience actually runs fatty liver program in major hospital. Doctors with many decades in liver disease run such programs. Running clinical trial is very profitable for doctors and hospitals, be very careful enrolling in one of hers. When she gives you informed consent to sign make sure she is not allowed to remove you.
By far the best doctor I've ever been to! Received results from a test that were questionable. Within an hour I received an unprompted email from her telling me that her interpretation of the test was different and that I shouldn't worry. Can't think of another doctor who would go out of their way to alleviate someone's "possible worry"! I can't recommend her enough!!
Dr. Dina is very caring & she looks for solutions to my health issues, Dr. Dina is not like all the other doctors who just give me the same old unhelpful solutions.
Dr Halegoua is a caring and understanding doctor. I felt very comfortable with her from the onset of my visit. Dr Halegoua contacted me with the results of my blood work almost immediately after she received them and explained them very thoroughly. I highly recommend her as she is a very caring person.
I found Dr. D.H. De Marzip, to be Caring, Empathic, not rushed, Personable as well as Very Knowledge. Great bed side manners but most important took to the Time to Listen without Pre-Judging or giving a Pre-diagnosis. Seeing I’m a NASH Stage 4 liver patient. I’m Very Appreciative to have her as my Doctor as well as her staff that supports her. Thank you, Karl/k

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
