List of Donald P. Goldsmith's Reviews
My son has been going to Dr. Goldsmith for 20 years now. Dr. Goldsmith is amazing and one of the most caring, kind doctors that I know. He takes his time with you, never rushes your appointment. He always answers all your questions and makes the patient feel comfortable and part of the appointment. If a procedure needs to be done he explains options and what would be best for your child. I highly recommend Dr. Goldsmith if you are looking for a Pediatric Rheumatologist.
Dr. Goldsmith is very gentle, patient, thorough and caring. He LISTENS to both the parents and the child. My son has been under his care for periodic fever syndrome for several years and we've seen him at both the St. Christopher's location and St. Luke's.
My son loves Dr. Goldsmith and our family recommend him very highly! Very nice office and staff was very courteous too!
Very patient and caring! Answered all of our questions and explained the medical information very well.
Dr. Goldsmith has been seeing my daughter for a little over a year for a reoccuring, hard-to-diagnose issue concerning inflammation in her joints. Each time we've seen him, he has always taken the time to listen to all of our concerns and address each of them. I feel he is very thorough in his recommendations and the tests he orders for her, as well as follow ups and phone calls in between tests/appointments. As a parent, nothing compares to having a pediatric specialist who puts your mind at ease and leaves you with the feeling that you're in good hands when caring for the needs of your child.
He cured my daughter when she had dermatomyositis-a wonderful man!!!
Dr Goldsmith is intelligent, thorough, and understanding,. He listens to both you your child..
Long wait time was ridiculous even though we were the second appointment of the day. Also, cost for the visit was obnoxious. Who can afford this, even with insurance!
I have never been to an office where the staff is so rude. The girl who answers the phone is the worst. I think her name is Ella. I was told she would have to stop what she was doing to help me. I wish I never took my child here, so many better options.
When I was 12, I was always tired, achy, always had a low-grade fever and often had migraines, I missed a lot of school that year. My pediatrician ran test and because of the results he recommended that I see a rheumatologist. After a few visits, he essentially told my parents that I had schoolitis and was a hypochondriac. Luckily for me, my parents trusted me and not the doctor. We went to another rheumatologist for a second opinion and I was diagnosed with SLE, with steroids, anti-malaria drugs and aspirin therapy, I began to feel well again. Dr. Goldsmith made me feel that it was all in my head. Even years later and with 3 rheumatologist having confirmed the SLE diagnosis, when I experience a flare, I still have them run my blood work to check for elevated lupus markers. His diagnosis still negatively effects me. Save your child the heartache and see another rheumatologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
