This doctor was unable to figure out what was causing our son’s terrible bowl and stomach situation. When we went to an allergist and found he had a wheat allergy the doctor became nasty and said that it was not a GI problem. We went to him for help with a bad situation and when he couldn’t figure it out he reacted in a very off putting way and told me that we would have to put my son back on wheat for three weeks to get a proper diagnosis. That would have been cruel. He was doing and feeling so amazingly improved. We had our answer! No parent in the world would torture their child further to boost this doctor’s ego!

We were hoping that the quick referral turnaround (Friday to Monday) would give us answers sooner but we couldn’t have been more wrong. All he did was question and provide more concerns. He sat at the computer the entire appointment except for the <1 minute he spent examining our Daughter. His demeanor was not welcoming or respectable. As a new Mom this is the last doctor you’d want to see when it comes to solving the problem and easing your mind. I hope this can help the next family who may be considering him as your child’s Dr.

Do not waste your time with this doctor. He should not be a pediatric doctor and I suspect he doesn’t do well with any humans to be honest. Arrogant, poor listener, disregards your child’s symptoms. Do not waste your time on this awful doc. Interestingly almost all the other Ped GI docs have a 4-5 star ratings and his are in the 2’s!!! There’s a good reason for that!

I don’t know why he would get any ratings less than 5 stars. This doctor knows his stuff and takes the time to answer questions and explain everything. We have had him for many years. He’s on top of his game.

I have NEVER walked out of an appointment before. Dr. Semeao had a very poor bedside manner -- he did not introduce himself, he seemed angry and impatient. It was an awful experience. It was very, very upsetting.

i felt this Dr did more talking than listening rather than finding out what was wrong and didn't ask my daughter any questions or how she was feeling infact for a Pediactric Dr didn't even include her in any of the time he was in the room other than at the very end took a 10second examination!!

It's true what the other review stated and I wish we would have seen this prior to seeing him. He spends more time talking to you as he's explaining what he can't do then spending time on what to do to help you! I had to continue to re-direct him many times on getting back to the subject. He will tell you everyone has abdominal pain!?!! What?!!! Isn't that your specialty? Truly he is an egotistical jerk and should be at a desk rather than a practice. Don't bring your kids to him it's a waste!
