I have had my appointment canceled over 4 times. One time I was in office for an hour before i was told.
Today, Wednesday, I had an appointment scheduled for the morning as a new patient. I made the appointment over the phone and made it clear that I don't have insurance, but the clinic gave me a referral to cover my expenses. It was difficult for me to organize myself since they gave me an appointment very early and I had to drop my son off at school. But I accepted it because it was the closest available. Going through all that, I arrived and at the office the receptionist was friendly, but explained to me that they couldn't see me because the insurance the clinic gave me was to see patients only on Wednesdays 😅 🙃 🤔🤦🏻♀️ but girl, today is Wednesday. They simply said they can't see you. You'll have to schedule another appointment. Ok, I won't bother. But they keep saying they won't schedule me there because they don't have Wednesdays available. I'll have to call them, or even go to another hospital that does cover that insurance, but I'll need a new referral form from my clinic. In short, they didn't want to see me, period. It's a Wednesday. There were no patients. I don't recommend this place at all; it's truly a waste of time. It's a shame they don't have a community service attitude. Pay somewhere else and don't come here.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Why am I waiting over two hous to see the doctor?! That is unacceptable. Why overbook patients and put them thru this. I put 3.5 hours aside out of my schedule for this appointment! And I showed up early and checked in online. There is no way I shouldn’t be able to be seen within three hours! The waiting room is packed with ppl. And it’s flu season. I ended up having to leave with my eyes dilated and not even being able to see a docter. And I paid for parking!
very bad emergency service.after 7.30 hours my wife got a doctor
One of the POOR medical service providers I have ever experienced. They have extremally poor management and they do not deserve to be a medical service providers in the USA. I would give them a negative review.
Transfered from another practice and they are lovely. Office staff greated me and answered a few questions. I had to wait about 20 min to be seen by the resident and after that saw Dr. Young. Dr. Young took the time and explained things to me and drew a diagram to make it easier to understand.
Would give 0 if I could. I’ll make this short. Dr. Brennan prescribed new contacts for me, but wouldn’t give me the prescription at my appt. He told me to try them out and get back to him. I’ve called 4 times now and have not received a callback, and have now been out of contact lenses for 3 days and counting. Nobody is helpful in the office. Now what do I do? I’m reporting you!
It takes hours to get a hold of anyone to make an appointment. And when you select the call back option, they redirect you to a different department, who then redirects you back to Opthamology's automated service, which hangs up. It's almost impossible to schedule without having to go inside and do it. I know I'm not the only one, as I've seen another patient go inside the office and complain about not being able to schedule. I needed to get a pre-certification for a procedure and they said they'd call back. Never did that either. I called my insurance company, who also told me that Einstein never requested for one. This has been going on for a month. Highly disorganized and very disappointed.
They cancelled my original appointment with Dr. Young, one of the opthalmologists, a few days before the appointment because 'he decided he wasn't going to come in Monday.' Then they said I wouldn't be able to reschedule for a month with him, but I could see another doctor. So I said that would be fine. After my appointment, I realized that I had seen an optometrist, not an opthalmologist. I was still billed at the same rate, too. I feel that the secretarial staff was misleading. While the optometrist was friendly, he was unable to really figure out what was wrong with my eyes and prescribed me a steroid eyedrop that didn't work but cost me $80 even after insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
