Eye Encounters's Online Review Report Card

I ordered 2 pairs of reading glasses at the Aramingo Crossings location. When the glasses arrived, the store had filled out the wrong prescription and both pairs were distance instead. I asked the store to change the lenses to reading for at least one pair. The store initially said there would be no additional charge but when the glasses arrived they charged me $60. I reluctantly paid the charge because it had been a whole month since the initial order and I could no longer get by without reading glasses. The staff was extremely rude and kept insisting that it was my mistake even though they clearly filled out the wrong prescription. Needless to say they lost my business. In all fairness, the optometrist that performed my initial eye exam was thorough and very professional. I feel sorry for him that the store has an incompetent front staff costing the company business.

One of the best customer experiences I've had repairing my glasses. Both ladies were very professional, patient, and understanding of my needs. On top ok that she picked out a fantastic frame that not only matched my style but one that fitted me perfectly. Thanks to them I can see again. Thanks

It Took Less Than An Hour To: See The Ophthalmologist (Eye Exam), Pick Out My Frames, Be Sized (Frames Fit Your Face/Line Up Your Bifocal), And Pay My Co-Pay (Everyone Will Not Have A Co-Pay)! Your Co-Pay Depends On: Your Health Insurance Company, If Your Eyes Have Worsened (A Stronger Prescription), If You Want Special Bifocals/Lens/Frames, And Other Factors That I Don't Know About! Give Them A Call! They Take: HEALTH PARTNERS They Can't Tell You If Your Going To Have A Co-Pay Until After You Have An Eye Exam! It Can Take Up To Two Weeks To Get Your Glasses! They Don't Have A Lab On Site! 🤓

My visit here wasn't the best. When I first arrived and checked in with the lady at the front desk I could see other patients' paperwork on the counter showing their personal information. Although the front staff was nice, they were a little unprofessional. They need a private area where they can call patients to discuss their information, not upfront where everyone can hear what's going on. The optometrist did a thorough exam. I was not purchasing my glasses from here, but I needed a prescription. My prescription information was just scribbled down on a prescription pad. They did not put which eye the information was for, nor did they put my pupillary distance. When I called and told them I needed my pupillary distance, they said if I was purchasing glasses from them I would have received it! Needless to say this is my first and last time at this place!

My experience with Trina at Eye Connections was amazing. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Hard to find this in kind of service anywhere these days. Thank you Trina!

This place will go above and beyond to take care of you. I doubt I'll ever go to any other eye place for as long as I live in philly. Ms. Gale went to war with my insurance for me to get my glasses covered and Trina is also always helpful and courteous.

Great working with them! They Ben checked the manufacturer to see if they had my preferred frames in the warehouse as they do not carry them anymore. They did and sent the frames to Eye Encounter's for me! So appreciated their going the second mile to help me get the frames I love! Thank you Eye Encounters!!

Staff is cool nice and respectful! Glasses are top tier for sure. Love this place

If you want to keep your mental health don’t go there cuz they drive you crazy! I usually don’t write reviews. So, imagine how bad the experience was that they forced me to write. They keep changing what they say! They say sth over the phone, when you go there, it’s sth else! They did it twice! Also, I had to follow up several times on my order, they didn’t call me back. Last but not least, I tried so hard to be nice and respectful but the guy at the front desk responds very inappropriately as if he is the one paying me to receive service and not the other way round! He’s got some attitudes!

Trina is a wizard!!!!! i needed help putting lenses in my frames and she snapped them in in seconds! i cannot recommend more!
