Dr. Evans is a caring and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to explain everything in a positive way that relieves any worry or anxiety.
I appreciate Dr Evans bedside manner. He addresses my husband as well as myself. I'm the patient but my husband knows just as much as I and sometimes more about my condition and how I react to the medicine. Thank you Dr, Evans for caring about us both. I pray God will continue to bless your hands and impart more knowledge concerning the brain. .
I was referred to Dr Evans from Dr Jain at Lankenau with a pituitary adenoma. His office coordinated everything prior to and after surgery. Dr Evans , besides being an amazing surgeon, has wonderful bedside manner. He also keeps family informed of progress. I would absolutely put my life in his hands again if necessary. I was never afraid through the entire procedure because of Dr Evans.
I have seen Dr.Evans for over 10 years and I trust what ever he has prescribed for me, He is an amazing Neuro Surgeon and I am very glad to have him as my Doctor
Dr. Evans treats my developmentally disabled sister. He is always respectful, speaks to her rather than me, and addresses her in a way that she can understand. He eases her anxiety. Oh yeah, he also removed her brain tumor!!! He is a wonderful doctor.
Dr Evans is the finest doctor I’ve ever met. He saved my eyesight and most likely, my life via pituitary tumor surgery. He has excellent communication skills and explains everything clearly. Very easy to talk to and ask questions. I have highly recommended him to others and look forward to seeing him for annual follow ups.
Dr. J. Evens took my son Christopher Keith. He did a Needle biopsy almost 3 weeks ago. He did a great job.
I called three days ago to schedule an appointment to see Dr James Evans. I gave the receptionist all of my information; including my insurance information. She stated she was going to call me back, in a few minutes, once she verified my insurance, but she never did. I hate the fact that receptionists are the middle people between the doctor and the patient. Medical employees can be so negligent and careless at times, and we(the patients) have to physically and emotionally suffer the consequences of their remissness! It’s awful! Hopefully, the DIY online appt process on the website goes through, if not, I will just find another Neurosurgeon.
From the moment my family and I walked into the office we knew we found the right place and doctor for my surgery. Everyone was warm and welcoming and for the first time in 2 years I felt truly heard and listened to. Even today staff members remembered me! Even though my procedure was something he did frequently, Dr. Evans took the time to answer all of our questions, we never felt rushed and he took the time to explain the risks while also comforting us. The surgery went amazing and even when there was a complication he was there for us. It’s been a year and my life will be forever changed. I’ve never felt this good in my life and because of Dr. Evans I’m re-pursuing a career in the medical field!!! Thank you again!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
