James Udell's Online Review Report Card

I would not recommend Dr Udell. He was extremely dismissive of my symptoms, anxiety regarding an undiagnosed (potential) autoimmune disorder and pain, did not listen to my concerns at all, and conducted the entire appointment with the exam room door open asking very personal questions that I’m sure the entire office could hear. I am not comfortable being treated by Dr Udell.

To whom it may concern, made first appointment with Dr Udell end of March for April 13 th at 3 pm. He came very highly recommended by neuro drs as I have unnecessary port installed for diagnosis of ms an recently told I was misdiagnosed with MS. So my neuro said if rheumatoid dr can consult an dismiss then I can have this port removed immediately as never should have been installed , also the port has not been flushed since January an All along I made this aware to office , feel I’m deeply falling thru cracks. Again an my life is at risk. I called today an spoke with dr udell him self told him that pa assistant in his office who saw me on 8 th of April when they called me in early for open appointment thinking I was to see dr udell but this time with pa assistant that I was unaware of , she ordered panel of test an no results given. Meanwhile time ticking away of port not flushed nor removed as I’m waiting on udells office to get back. So I wait all day for results after his office calling me three times to let me know he is seeing pts till 7 pm an my results on his desk. He leaves an goes home only for me to call his on line service to call him immediately an ask him to call. He had the nerve to insult my intelligence by saying I’m another drs pt. I said no I was referred to you personally from my neuro an his office made multiple mistakes today only for me to have dr udell sternly tell me that I’m not his pt tonight an I explain his office has made a few mistakes one the very first spots going there for one. I should have never been put through this horrible experience after calling in my family drs with BP of 213/101 all due to the cluster mistakes going on in dr udells office today an past month but seeing other reviews I now understand I was referred to poorly office location. I’ve been come here for 5 years , Dr. Udell is always polite, listens . Compassionate . Infusion nurses are fantastic, knowledgeable.

Very unprofessional first time there will never go back there. Theresa Brown nurse practitioner very unprofessional made me feel like a child. Talks very loud where everybody can hear her. Where is Hippa here when she talks so loud. No compassion towards the patient I have never encountered anyone so mean and unprofessional

I was a patient of Dr. Udell's for ten years. He was always kind, professional, and took the time to figure out what could be done to help me live a more pain free life. No matter how many patients were in the waiting room, you got a complete visit. He also took the time to just talk. Once he described how his daughter's appendix almost ruptured. Years later, because of that, I knew to go to the hospital when I started experiencing the same symptoms. While my appendix wasn't going to burst, it was full of cancer, which was managed to be caught early. That personal anecdote saved my life. Dr. Udell is one of the few things I miss about Philadelphia.

Dr. Udell is ignorant and obnoxious. As you read his negative ratings you see a consistent pattern. He is dismissive and uncaring towards his patients. Dr. Udell is a creep. He shouldn't be allowed to treat a dog. He doesn't deserve to hold a medical license. He is a disgrace to his profession. Avoid doctor James Udell.

I can saw with out a doubt this dr is the best specialist in want he does my husband have got, an I can say that my husband haven't got gout in years. Grateful to God for give Dr. Udell the the knowledge in what he studied and work hard for. Thank you Dr. Udell
