Dr. Farma has been my doctor since 2019. He is an excellent surgeon. His skill, knowledge, and compassion would be difficult to match! He incorporates a holistic approach that lets his patients know he sees them and cares about them as a person. I appreciate his skill, knowledge and care.

My mothers Melanoma has been treated with immunotherapy and removed in 4 months. Dr Farma was so informative, kind and caring and knew exactly what he was doing. We were so happy to have great results.

Dr Jeffrey Farma was kind and compassionate. He explained things very well and gave me a picture of what to expect. His evaluation of my case was totally right. Surgery confirmed I had a well differentiated lipoma-like, 32 cm liposarcoma. My R kidney was affected as well as the psoas muscle with liposarcoma. He was so kind when he delivered the news to me. I would highly recommend him to my family and others.

Below are my husband's writing about his experience I recently was diagnosed with colonrectal cancer. I was quite shocked to hear the bad news and feel helpless about how to fight the disease. I called several local hospitals and tried to make appointments. But it would all take at least month to see them. My wife heard that Dr. Farma at Fox Chase Caner Center is a well known surgical oncologist but It's not always easy to get an appointment with a specialist, especially one with over ten years of experience like Dr. Farma. She wrote a email to Dr, Farma for help in the afternoon and to our surprise he replied to us in the evening and would like to see me in two days. I was so happy to get such a speedy help from a famous doctor and set up the appointment with him and cancelled other appointments. In our first meeting, he reviews my symptoms and current findings and ordered a series of tests. He personally make calls to arranged my MRI and CT scan at Fox Chase Cancer Center to speed up the process. I was deeply impressed with his knowledge and his caring and kindness to his patients. After the test result came out, he took the time to review my test results with me in detail, and told me that my cancer is still in early stage and should have high chance for survival. He performed the surgery on me three weeks later and I do have a very speedy recovery. After all these process, I have very grateful for Dr, Farma’s help and has complete confidence with Fox Chase Cancer Center for fighting a serious illness like cancer.

This man saved my life!!! After losing my stomach and esophagus to a rare cancer, Dr. Farma was able to "replumb:" me. After not eating for 15 months, I now live a full normal life! I can't thank him enough for his understanding, knowledge of my situation and confidence to reconstruct me. He and his team at Temple/Fox Chase were second to none in dealing with a very difficult situation. Plus calming me during a very trying time in my life. I owe my future to he and all the professionals that have me where I am today.

I was referred to Dr Farma in April 2022 with a diagnosis of Liposarcoma. During the initial visit, Dr Farma and his staff reviewed the procedure and possible outcomes of the surgery. Surgery was performed in September 2022 after radiation treatment of 25 rounds. The surgery was successful and the kidney was also removed. So far, scans have been clean and hopefully will continue that way. Dr Farma and his staff, were kind, considerate, informative and comforting. I would highly recommend Dr Farma to anyone who may be in my situation.

When your diagnosis contains the word cancer, you need to be sure you can trust your doctor with your life. You need to be positive that your doctor has the knowledge, expertise and skills to provide you with the best possible care. And you need to have all of that in a doctor who has the ability to keep your outlook positive while explaining the situation to you in a manner you understand. For me, Doctor Farma is that doctor. At the end of August 2022, I was diagnosed with a relatively large malignant GIST tumor between my stomach, liver and pancreas. Initial treatment included taking an oral chemotherapy medication daily in an attempt to shrink the tumor and make it more accessible for removal. Unfortunately, I was in the approximately 15% of people with a GIST tumor that would not respond to any medication treatments. The only alternative was surgical removal. Doctor Farma explained the situation to me and answered each and every question and concern I had. He did so in a way that conveyed his self confidence in his abilities without seeming arrogant. I am extremely grateful to Doctor Farma. He successfully removed the tumor, and my recovery has been excellent. I am happy to report that I am cancer free at this time.
