Jenna Kastan's Online Review Report Card

I went to see her today but her attitude was super super rude…. I just said that you are looking different since I saw you last year and she was like to shoot me right away…. I did not mean anything bad to comment on the body or something but she took it very personally and started behaving highly ill mannered person… doctors are like a family not a business…. You should behave yourself and at least smile and say nicely if you don’t like anything…. Ruined my day and I would definitely change my PC ….horrible….nobody ever treated me like that so far being a so called professional….your attitude matters a lot

My first visit with Dr. Kasten was right after Covid so I had a lot of issues to deal with and she told me "I don't have time for all that". Already turned off by that. My 22 year old saw her for a very sore throat. No only did she talk my daughter out of getting her throat swapped (a standard practice with sore throats) but told her that strep and other INFECTIONS don't come with a fever! I mean I'm no dr but I know that is beyond incorrect. She spent more time lecturing her on the fact that she came into the office with a fever and should have tested for covid before coming in... but also didn't test her for covid. Sent her home with an anti inflammatory and told her she had a virus. She woke up the next morning worse. She could barely swallow. I called to complain and get her an antibiotic called in, where I had to speak to Dr. Kastan, who not only seemed very concerned with whether my daughter had me on the phone in the office because my daughter tells me what happened and, surprise surprise, she tells me the truth. Dr. Kasten then lies telling me she had a LONG conversation with her about swabbing her throat but she declined the procedure. Lies. Then it gets even better, during the office visit my daughter tells her she is resistant to Amoxicilian. Guess what medication Dr. Kastan decides to give her... yep, Amoxicilian!!!!! When I questioned it, I am told "she remembers the conversation with my daughter but it's the appropriate medication for her." So her answer is to call in a medication that doesn't work for her???? I don't know why or how Kastan has a medical degree, but she is arrogant and rude and ignorant and needs to go back to school to learn to listen to her patients. Something she apparently doesn't seem to want to be bothered with. We are done.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kastan and all the staff as well. Doctor is attentive and kind. Making appointments, getting through on the phone and any prescription issues have all been a breeze. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jenna Kastan was a delight at first. She cared for me well, but I suppose that was just a facade. Every other visit other than the first I went too, she was very rude and dismissive. My issues were belittled and she rushed the appointments as if I was just another paycheck. My mother also went to her and received a very similar treatment. Safe to say I switched my doctor and I will no longer be her patient. I suggest that she works on resolving her patients issues rather than pushing them out the door.

Dr. Kastan is the family doctor you've been searching for! I have seen her multiple times for various health reasons, and that's why I'm the perfect patient to review her! She is a wonderful, smart, and extremely compassionate physician. Thorough and a very good listener. I'm happy to have her as my PCP!

She's so rude. It wasn’t just once but on multiple visits, she was really rude. I've never had any PCP that ill-mannered. She was acting like she’s seeing us for free. Really disappointing. Ruined my day.
