This wonderful doctor has a special vocation for children, he makes them feel comfortable and confident that the best is being done so that they will be well. It was worth driving 5 hours for Dr. Pahys to treat my daughter. And he explained to me in detail the best procedure to follow in my daughter's case.

Dr. Pahys has been one of my favorite doctors. He did my spinal tethering and stapling surgery 8 years ago. I was so lucky to be able to have this operation and to have the best surgeon. Thanks to him I still have a full range of motion in my spine. He also has inspired me to go on a journey to medical school and to become a doctor.

Dr. Pahys has great bedside manner and really tried to put our nerves at ease. He is great with children and my daughters spinal fusion went flawless thanks to his more than capable hands. I am so glad that we chose Shriners hospital of Philadelphia instead of CHOP. Compared to CHOP where the doctors may be capable but seemed to be lacking in making us feel comfortable with putting our daughter through such a life and death surgery. She was just another patient at CHOP. SHRINERS AND Dr. Pahys made us feel quite comfortable like she was his child and he would make sure she had the best care ❤

Dr. Pahys - an amazing doctor and even better person. Humble. Kind. Patient. Understanding. They don't make them like Dr. Pahys. He has been so great in helping us with our son's scoliosis, we could not have asked for a better doctor. He takes his time, going above and beyond to make sure we understand everything he is saying, ensuring we are comfortable with every step of treatment and always knows ways to to show us his support in guiding us along our journey. Dr. Pahys, simply put, is the best.

Dr. Pahys is not only an outstanding surgeon, but he is an equally amazing human being. The personalized attention he gave to our son, as well as to our entire family, was simply amazing. It is difficult to put the life of your child into someone else's hands. As scared as we all were, Dr. Pahys made us feel comforted. He answered all of our questions and explained the procedure to my son (and his curious little brother) with drawings, photos, and used kid analogies and language. Like I said, we know how hard it is to have your child's life in another person's hands, but there is no one else we would have trusted. Dr. Pahys is simply an amazing person. -The Radko Family
