Dr Katir Erkmen is one of the best Neurosurgeons that has helped me to survive from a weird injury after a vehicle accident. He worked with Pamela Roehm ENT, the two surgeons were magnificent And of course the entire team of my surgery worked fantastic . I was so fortunate to be under DR KATIR ERKMENS Care and would recommend his care for anyone needing his help.

Craiotomy,resection of left glomus tumor neuromonitoring. Dr Erkmen was the perfect person for the job ! He was outstanding, honest from the beginning. Open about the procedures needed. His staff Excellent! Temple University you have the best NEUROSURGEON around. I will recommend him forever.

Dr Erkman removed an AVM in my brain surgery was a success and it all went the way he said it would I had very minimal shaving of my hair. He answered all my questions before I even had a chance to ask them I knew in the first few minutes when I met him that he was the man for this job his bedside manner was excellent he was sweet and approachable to ask questions. I was told he was the best, he truly is

On May 2019 Dr Erkman removed an AVM from my brain. Surgery was a success and. I got to keep all my hair. On my first meeting with Dr Erkman I knew in 5 minutes he was the man for the job. He was straight forward honest and answered all my questions before I even had a chance to ask them. His bed side manner was awesome. Visited with me after the surgery. I have no regrets They say he's the best I truly agree

Dr.Erkmen performed my surgery on 12/21/10. He successfully removed a tumor that had meshed with one of my arteries. He saved my life and changed it for the better!

We met Dr. Erkman when it was decided that my tumor needed to come out right away. My appointment for surgery was scheduled for the next month. Then two days before surgery, the hospital called to say he was on emergency leave and would be back soon probably at the end of the week. every week they called at the end of the week saying nope, he's still gone. Finally after being led by the nose, they sent me to Boston for the surgery (to a better doctor thank goodness) It took 3 months to get my emergency surgery due to his leave. Because of that eye sight was further damaged and other side effects are worse.

After driving over an hour to see Dr. Erkmen, despite the fact that I saw him wandering the halls while I was in an appointment room waiting to see him he was called off to surgery. Rescheduled weeks later and despite the fact that his office knew he was not going to be available I received no call. The Dr. asked if I could come back later in the afternoon and after being called back to the hospital at 1:15pm (my appointment was at 19:30 am, and told he would see me in a few minutes my wife and I were left waiting for 40 minutes in a room while the doctor was socializing next door. Clearly this is a man who has absolutely no respect for his patients. Complained to the hospital and the referring doctor and was told the Dr. would contact me that evening. Of course I never heard from him. See another doctor, don't waste your time with this one.

Dr Erkmen was fantastic. He was very kind, put me at ease during an extremely stressful situation. He is my hero! I thank God for his gift.

The kindness in his eyes speaks volumes. He is so calming, reassuring and skilled!My brain and I are very thankful to have found him.
