I have had 4 surgeries to correct double vision, as an adult. Dr Gunton was one of the doctors that failed to correct. However, I had cataract surgery this past August, 2021 and my doctor only recommended that I see dr. Gunton for my double vision.even with a dr. Referral, I still had to wait 2 months to get an office visit. It was not worth the wait. She examined me for maybe five minutes and let her assistant cover the rest of the exam. When I finally got my glasses with my new prescription, it was off on all three counts, not even close, for prism, distance and reading. (Her assistant giving the exam kept telling me to guess the letters even if I couldn't see them!) I will never go back and I would not recommend!

Dr. Gunton has been seeing our daughter for years now for an eye issue.I could say enough good things about Dr. Gunton. She is so incredibly good with kids. My daughter is a very shy girl and she has no problems with Dr. Gunton and interacting with her due to how friendly of a doctor she is.Ontop of that we have seen multiple eye doctors now and Dr. Gunton in my opinion is the most knowledgeable and professional by far. She does a great job explaining to my wife what is going on so we can understand it. You can tell she cares deeply about her patients and wants the best course of action for them.Highly Highly recommend her!

After 3 years, and 2 other eye doctors and additional research, I reached out to Dr. Gunton about an issue I had been having, which turned out to be adult onset strabismus. Dr. Gunton LISTENED to me, performed an exam followed by an accurate diagnosis and then surgery. I am 100% pleased with the result, which was almost immediate. What a relief! I rarely write reviews, but this is well deserved! Her staff was kind, accommodating and friendly! Greg O’Brien

AMAZING and CARING!!!I was referred to Dr. Gunton because of double vision from Grave's Eye Disease. I knew I needed surgery, but was hoping for prisms until my eyes were stable and ready. The previous Opthalmologists I had seen said thatmy vision was too bad for prisms so when I went to see Dr. Gunton I didn't have any expectations about them. Well, she took her time and actually found the right prisms to help me. I was blown away! It made the last few months of waiting a lot easier.I just had Strabismus surgery 10 days ago. No more double vision!!!If you want the best, you want Dr. Gunton. I can't possibly say enough good things about her!

Dr was great, however the staff is awful. They have conveniently charged me for missed appointments i haven't made when their systems went down. Still no receipts for my appointment almost 2 months late. Top it off with lying staff and 2 and a half hour waits with toddlers.

Don't leave the office without a receipt and follow-up appointment written down! Their systems crashed and i never got my daughters follow-up appt made. I was told i would get a call to schedule it and my receipt the following week. Meanwhile, i am being charged a missed appt fee for THEIR MISTAKE! Not worth 2 and a half hour wait, the hassle or the lies!

Dr. Gunton seemed kind and attentive, but told me that my son, who had been complaining of headaches, inability to see clearly, and some double vision, was just thinking about his vision too much. She told me that he was fine. Later, I found a different doctor who ordered prescription bifocals for my son. In the interim, my son continued to suffer from headaches and trouble seeing. I hestitate to write this, because she was kind, but I would not recommend this doctor.

The most wonderful doctor. Returns your calls promptly. I was seeing double for 3 yrs. She performed surgery, and vision is perfect! The best!
