Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Mark Notash's Reviews
He was very knowledgeable about what was causing severe back pain and did a thorough exam. He took his time explaining what was going on and the emergency treatment. He also put in referrals and requested they contact me to make the appointments.
Dr. Notash was incredible. Instantly stitched my friend up and was kind, smart, and professional. Thank you Dr. Notash for the best ER experience ever.
He examined my infant son who was suffering from a fever and was through and spent all the time we needed to answer our questions and give advice.
Dr. Notash and I were discussing CT Scan results. He told me twice I had brain cancer. A split moment later he said he was just kidding. Apparently some staff also found it funny. I did inform UCD of the indiscretion. I hope the word gets out.
He didn't realize that my wife and I were nurses. He was outwardly respectful in every way...however.He walked into the room and instantly jumped to the assumption I was lying. I explained that I currently had cholecystitis (Gall stones). He asked if I currently had it.....I answered 'yes'. He obviously didn't believe me because he then took the medication scanner and acted as if it was an ultrasound.....he showed no signs of kidding...it was obvious to both my wife and me. Without cracking a smile he walked out of the room suggesting we would see the results in a little while...he never even turned around to see our facial response...Again he had no idea we were both nurses... For those that don't understand the significance...I could report him to the board for performing a fake test. I suppose he judged us by the way we were dressed after coming in at 4 am...My wife and I have been RN's for 13 years...I can't suggest more strongly that this man is NOT enlightened...DO NOT PLACE YOUR LIFE IN HIS HANDS..A lady was carried in a gurney screaming in agony....it was 'apparently' funny to him...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
