I absolutely love everything about this office. Dr.Amster is amazing. She explained every question I had in layman's terms. She and her staff are very compassionate and professional. Wait time in the waiting room was always less than 10mins along with waiting for Dr Amster to enter the exam room. I highly recommend Dr Amster and her staff. Class act theft all are!

I went to her because I have frequent UTIs. I didn’t meet her till the 3rd visit. I asked for several scripts with no date to take to my lab for urine cultures when I suspected a UTI. She refused, saying her staff would fax it in. What. Is there widespread urine culture abuse on the street. Her office is so lazy that when I call for a script, it’s a crap shoot if the lab gets it. Last time it was sent to the wrong lab. The staff is lazy, incompetent and stupid and that reflects upon her.

Waited for over two hours, got to wait in a room across from Dr. Amsters office. Saw her do nothing for the entire time I was waiting but check Facebook, snack on food, rush to meet her coworkers who brought in food for lunch, complain about her own patients to her nurses(who also complained and called two patients annoying, Dr. literally instructed a nurse to do something useless just to "get one guy out of there"), spent maybe 20 seconds looking at cat scans. She didn't see a SINGLE patient while I was waiting except for one, where the nurse had to go to her and talk to her twice just so she'd get off her butt and speak with them. The nurse I saw didn't examine me whatsoever and immediately implied that I was faking my testicular pain and looking for painkillers by doing NOTHING but recommend I go to a pain management center. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!!

I hope that this comment saves you time, frustration and disappointment. If you are in need of a urologist, find a different doctor. I was in tremendous pain for 9 weeks. When I finally was seen by Dr. Amster, she dismissed everything I was feeling and would not explain. She was condescending and rude. Dr. Amster acted as if my pain and the possible ways I have found relief were all in my head. She rushed to the end of the appointment and then left the office before giving me my paperwork.

She rushed to the end of the appointment and then told me to wait a minute or two while she got a paper. 45 minutes later, I was informed that she left the office for the evening. I strongly recommend you research other doctors!

I would not recommend Dr. Amster. At first she seemed concerned, but quickly became condescending and judgmental with me. Also, she seemed to rush with me before I got a chance to ask questions. I went to her from the Hahnemann ER with UTI problems. I told her all of my symptoms but she didn't seem to care and only scheduled me for a bladder CAT scan for 2 weeks later. I went to another hospital ER 2 days later, and was admitted there for 2 days being treated for a kidney infection.

no pain meds after stents had to go to the ER at night for pain meds each time-three different times

Dont get an ureteroscopy with her, she will send you home riding with pain. She only wants you to take tylenol which doesn't help if you have an stent.
