I have been a patient of Dr Mullen since he became an attending physician. He has always been personally available, explains treatment options, collaborates with all my other providers and provides feedback. Very caring and interested in listening to your questions and concerns.

Dr. Mullen was very thorough. He was a good listener, a kind person and an excellent physician. I was very pleased that I had the benefit of an exceptional doctor supported by such gracious and professional staff.

I consulted Dr.Mullen due to fact that in New Jersey Monmouth county I was not given a reason wy I had a stroke 2 days post op after a total hip replacement. I saw Dr. Mullen who diagnosed me after further testing. I fell he is very knowledgeable , always called me back if I had any questions . His staff all were excellent especially Debbie. I cannot say enough of good things about him and the Hospital of University of Penn.

Dr. Mullen has a lot to learn about being a doctor. He let 6 weeks go by before telling me my test results, then chose to do so by leaving me bad news on my voice mail. He could not understand why I was less than pleased. He was also more concerned about his own well being than with mine. When I confronted him he gave me what sounded like a well rehearsed line from risk management about taking my feedback to improve his practice. I have heard more sinccere telemarketers. Oh, and teh only medical advice he gave me was "wait an dsee if it gets better." Good bye Dr. Mullen.

He waited 6 weeks to tell me my test results, chose to do so by leaving me a voice mail, and when I called him on that shabby trick, could not understand my reaction since "we had talked about it when you were in." As if that eliminates any need for basic human conduct. Rigid, uncaring, more concerned about his own well being than that of his patients. I will never go back. Oh and he still hasn't gotten back to me with my results from another test done that same day. 7 weeks and counting. Philadelphia has a lot of great docs. I plan to go find one.
