List of MIllicent G Zacher Do's Reviews
Rude, argumentative, know-it-all. Didn’t listen to a word I said and didn’t provide any treatment for the two ailments I came to her with. Steer clear!
HORRIBLE Reported her, and refused to pay or have the visit billed to my insurance I traveled all the way from NJ to see what I thought was going to be a specialist and we ended up screaming at each other and I was crying!!!! She is a psycho bitter old women. Who accuses people of med seeking
Evil. Chose her medical career over her sick kids. She kicked out her younger daughter at 16, who suffered numerous traumas. One would think with Millicent's background she would stick ny her kids but no and she had the older sister Jill, make up lies about Jane as a way to justify herself. Before used this quack, look at her ratings and you will see that the majority of them are bad.
As a medical doctor, she should know the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, but she did not. It doesn't seem as though she had kept up with current medical practice. I was shocked when she asked if I managed my sugar levels via urinalysis (people stopped doing this in the late 1980's). Regarding the gynecological exam, she would talk over me as I was asking questions, which was not very pleasant as a patient. I made sure to see a different doctor for all my following visits.
Literally, SAVED MY LIFE! After several years and several other doctors, Dr. Zacher was the first to really listen to my symptoms and asked essential diagnostic questions leading to a swift diagnosis of my growing ovarian cancer. Assertive follow-up to make sure I had her ordered testing done asap. Half hour interview, reviewing my physical and menstrual history, and current complaints, which led to diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome, which explained a whole lifetime of issues. (Her associates are NOT as skilled and patient-focused. Desk staff is just ok. Wait time reasonable, especially since the patient is not rushed once seen.) I was referred to oncologic-gyn for surgery/chemo and, when clear and in remission, returned to her to deal with contributing hormonal imbalances. (Will see how that goes... just back.)
We saw Dr. Zacher for fertility issues. Rather than give statistics about which method would be best.. she literally said "I'm sure you've read on the internet that these are the choices...which one do you want to select"? Moreover, we were brought by the nurse from the waiting room to sit in a blood draw room that is 3 feet by 2 feet filled with needles, medical supplies, and yes a vial of somebody's fresh urine. I realize there aren't always good outcomes and we are just starting the process. however, I expect my doctor to explain the choices, explain the pros and cons, and give an opinion. Oh, and we can do without stories of her vacations
Dr Zacher is wonderful. She helped me to become pregnant and was extremely knowledgeable about exactly which tests I needed in order to diagnose my infertility. I will forever be grateful to the wonderful care and advice I received from her.
I have been seeing Dr. Zacher for several years. I have found her to be punctual, helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant.
I have been going to Dr. Zacher for a year. I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I had extreme unexplained weight gain as I have always had a healthy diet. She never prescribed metformin or mentioned any dietary concerns. Almost all women with PCOS and weight gain can suspect that they have a form of insulin resistance. I read and read and finally found the glycemix index/load diet. I have lost 70 lbs. in 6 months, no thanks to my doctor. Also at my last appointment I was ushered into an exam room 15 minutes after my appointment and then I was left waiting for one hour while she had a non medical related conversation with an intern in her office. I had to go get them in my little robe as I had better thing to do that sit almost naked in a cold room waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment, if I was an hour late I would not have been fit in. I will not go back and felt very disrespected!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
