List of Penn Neurology Pennsylvania Hospital's Reviews
Kind caring and extremely smart doctors leading neurology.
This is a highly professional but very caring medical facility located on Pine Street and Ninth Street. I come here to participate in research studies as a healthy control for Parkinson’s Disease. The people I work and interact with are all pleasant, friendly and caring folks. If you have or know of anyone with a neurological disorder I recommend this medical facility.
This portal stuff is horrible . Dr has told me to contact them of any situation and this has been nothing of an assistance . No one has called me personally . Just sending messages of what I didn’t explain to them myself . Horrible service .
Glad to be a patient of this healthcare system.
glad to be a patient of this healthcare system..CRNP Brooke Neuman is an amazing person as well as Dr. Michael Gelfand is incredible as well. thanks so much
After my previous review (below) I was contacted by patient services through Google. I submitted my grievances through the link they provided. They contacted me shortly after and we discussed the situation. A week later I was contacted regarding an appointment that became available. I accepted because it was a very convenient time. The doctor reviewed my records and was very thorough and thoughtful. This is the type of professionalism I’ve always expected from Penn, and am happy they are trying hard to achieve it. I’ve adjusted my rating accordingly.

“This office is poorly run, Doctor C. was satisfactory but miscommunication regarding the doctor's departure for my follow up. So, I was left with no follow up of my scan review. Very unprofessional”
If it wasn't for the migraine treatments I received I would not be able to BLOCK OUT the PAIN I'm in 24/7 from before I was assaulted and kicked in my spinal cord and my Head well ORBITAL BONE on my left Eye slammed into a vehicle and I couldn't THINK I COULDN'T HIDE THE PAIN 😞 ANYMORE AND DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS, MY HIP AND LEFT LEG STOPPED WORKING AND FROM THE DAMAGE and I try would have killed myself by now if it wasn't for these injections keeping me alive!!!
After seeing two other neurologists at other practices that were awful, I found this DR. Dr. Kannarkat was kind, knowledgeable and he listened without judgment. He was thorough in evaluating me and gave me several treatment options for my diagnosis and ordered more testing to follow up. I felt heard for once and not talked down to like other drs had before. I recommend this doctor for any neurological problems.
They performed as expected. High quality medical services.
They don’t listen to patients and won’t let you switch to a different doctor within the whole state. I wasted 2 years battling MS for them to tell me everything I was going through and currently dealing with is 15 different health issues. All they want to do is give you a drug they get a kickback for and take your money before they puch you out the door. Don’t be fooled by the smiles and warm remarks they DO NOT CARE!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
