Dr. Schlesinger has been treating my elderly father, who is 87 years old. After an ICU follow up visit to his office with my father we discovered a mix up in his medication, which I confirmed with our pharmacist. I called Dr. Schlesinger’s office for clarification on a Monday morning and was told that I wouldn’t be able to obtain an answer until Wednesday! I called the office again on Wednesday and the doctor was not available to take my call or provide an answer. The lack of response and communication from this doctor is horrible. I would not ever recommend this doctor to any loved one with a cardiac issue. Frankly, a mix up in cardiac meds can be lethal, although Dr. Schlesinger doesn’t seemed very concerned. My personal, past experience has been with the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Obviously Dr. Schlesinger doesn’t measure up to the level of quality healthcare provided elsewhere. Thankfully, I am here to advocate for my father’s care as he would have never seen the mix up.

Dr. Schlesinger prescribed my mother a medication that caused some pretty serious reactions. When we reached out to his office the nurse let us know the earliest he could talk to her about it is in June. It is April. They said if we are worried about it to go to the ER. Sure, covid wouldn't be at the hospital and everyone wants to sit around with sick people all day and pay astronomical fees because he is unconcerned.

Worst MD ever!.. He's an arrogant SOB with a terrible bedside manner.. How can a doctor who is supposed to help patients even think to curse out a patient who is lying in their hospital bed and getting a breathing treatment?.. If you can't have a good bedside manner with a patient who has an end-stage disease, then don't be a doctor... Total A-hole!
