Dr Uzzo is amazing. Everyone that I speak with that has experience with him has nothing but high praise. He is genuine and down to earth. His office is the most efficient and friendly office I've ever been to. He is recognized as one of the very best in his field. I'm grateful that I am under his care.

The reception desk and staff are very helpful and friendly. The attending nurse is very professional, knowledgeable, and was truly interested in my case and in helping me with resources and extra tools to learn more about my cancer. Dr. Uzzo is one of the BEST doctors I have ever met. He took time to clearly explain things and educate me in exactly what is going on with my kidney tumor. He is very interested in my questions and concerns and did not rush things at all. I cannot say enough about how respectfully I was treated. Dr. Uzzo is among the worlds best. Kind, courteous, punctual(even early), helpful planning multiple appointments on the same day since we had to travel, knowledgeable, precise in giving information!!! A cancer diagnosis can be terrifying and confusing, and it’s important to advocate for yourself and seek out the best care possible. For me, that care was found 600 miles from home at Fox Chase. Dr. Uzzo and his incredibly kind colleagues and staff walked me through all of my options as a stage 4 kidney cancer patient,. My questions and my family’s questions were answered thoroughly; we never felt rushed. Dr. Uzzo performed my surgery, and my entire experience at Fox Chase was exceptional. Everyone I came in contact with was kind and patient. There is no surgeon or cancer center that I would recommend more highly than Dr. Uzzo and Fox Chase.

Dr. Robert Uzzo saved my life twice in the last ten years. Once in 2012 when a tumor was found on my right kidney, not only did he remove all of the tumor but also saved 75% of my kidney. Then again March 2023 when after my annual scans showed a tumor on my left kidney. Again he removed not only the tumor but saved 80% of my kidney. I am thankful every day that I was sent to Dr. Uzzo 10 years. Dr. Uzzo treated my husband and myself as if we were part of his family, he talked to us and drew pictures so that we understood exactly what was going on and what we needed to do. He was so compassionate and even held my hand. He understands what his patients are feeling and going thru before during and after surgery. I am forever grateful for Dr. Uzzo, he has given me a future to look forward to with my husband two sons and allowing me to some day meet my future grandchildren.

Dr. Uzzo is truly one of a kind. He took the time to explained detailed information about my diagnosis. Dr. Uzzo is compassionate and shows that he really cares. He answered every question and not once did he rush his time. This made this difficult time in my life easier. It was great to see him checking up on me while I was recovering at the hospital after surgery. Knowing that his team notified my wife about my status during surgery and to have Dr. Uzzo come out after surgery to inform my wife about my status shows how amazing everyone is at Fox Chase. My wife and I would like to thank Dr. Uzzo and his staff for everything they have done for us. Something as a simple phone call with information about resources that can help made this process easier for us. I had a terrific experience with Dr. Uzzo and his Team. After my first appointment, my family and I knew we were in the best hands possible and felt confident we made the right choice for my care. Dr. Uzzo listened and answered all of my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Uzzo and his Team to anyone undergoing a kidney cancer diagnosis.

My mom was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in October 2022 in Poland. We’ve contacted and consulted best professionals in the country; however given the complexity and criticality of the situation, we decided to also seek second opinion and guidance in the US. After a thorough due diligence and recommendations from close friends who are also professionals in the medical field, Dr Uzzo was the one and only to call. Dr. Uzzo is known as the best! After only the very first visit we already knew that Doctor is the one who my mom will be operated by. My mom’s surgery was in December 2022 performed by Dr. Uzzo. She was already walking and feeling well after only few hours of such a complex procedure and she got discharged from the hospital the following day! Truly spectacular! There are not enough compliments to describe how satisfied we are. Not only Dr. Uzzo safely removed the cancer but also saved my mom’s kidney, which, in my mom’s case, was almost as critical as removing the tumor. Other surgeons we saw prior were implying there is a very high probability of my mom ending up with a full nephrectomy which would have led to dialysis. Dr Uzzo, Jill S., Sue B. and the whole FCCC group are extremely knowledgeable, reassuring, compassionate and clear when explaining and answering our questions. Thank God we found Dr. Uzzo and his whole team. We are so very grateful to Dr. Uzzo and Fox Chase Cancer Center. The superb professionalism and expertise of Dr. Uzzo and his team are 2nd to none!

For being one of the worst things I ever had to face in my life. DR. Uzzo and his team right from the first consultation made me feel comfortable with the situation at hand and walked me threw all of my options and explained everything in detail and recommended my best plan of action and what could be expected. "Best and Worst Case" The staff at Fox Chase were extremely professional and were very attentive when it came to caring for me pre and post surgery. Hands down I recommend DR. Uzzo and Fox Chase to any friend or family member and I know they will have the best professional care available.
