The staff was courteous and prompt. The nurse explained the process clearly and patiently answered our questions. Dr. Virtibo spent considerable time with us and explained the results of the surgery and next steps. She was very caring and patient.

Very thorough and friendly. She took time to answer any questions I had. I did not feel rushed. Definitely liked her!

Good evening, As I sit here thinking about what I have been through these last few months, with all the testing and worrying about my condition, I feel very blessed to have met Dr.Viterbo. She made my wife and I very comfortable and reassured us that everything was gonna be ok. She was very professional, straight forward, and above all compassionate. Dr. Viturbo treated my husband for his prostate cancer. She helped us in making the decision to have surgery and I believe she saved his life. She is just as committed to his follow-up care. She has a gift for making every patient feel like he/she is her only one. We absolutely love her!

Dr. Viterbo is simply amazing. I can honestly say I have never met a Dr. that truly cares about her patients like she does. She does what she says, she treats you like she would her family. Her and her staff are wonderful. We made many phones calls to the nurses before my husband's surgery and they were always very helpful. She was able to do a partial nephrectomy for my husband with no complications and with a quick recovery and healing time. We are so grateful for her and everything she does. Thank you so much.

I knew Dr Viterbo was the right Dr to take care of my husband in a scary time. I knew the first appointment as she took her time to clearly and patiently explain everything we were worried about. Her follow up with procedures and explanations have been timely and professional. She said she would take care of my husband like a family member and she certainly has. She has proven that her reputation I have read about is certainly true . I have been a worried wife making calls when we were in the diagnostic process. I have to mention the wonderful nurses that have called me back. They have been patient, understanding and wonderful. Reassurance from the PA , Marcel was really a helpful plus. I had a very large prostate which Dr. Viterbo managed to tame with robotic assisted surgery, with minimal discomfort and quick recovery. Now I am able to urinate like a young man, and sleep through the night. Thank you Dr. Viterbo.

I selected Dr. Viterbo to perform my prostate surgery based on her significant experience, prior results and quite frankly the confidence that she inspires. She described all of the risks and potential side effects in great detail. At the end of the day, she under promised and over delivered. I also have to give a shout out to each and every employee that I came in contact with at Fox Chase. I was always treated with compassion and respect from the technicians, doctors and nurses to housekeeping employees. Krysten, my first nurse post-op was nothing short of an angel. Dr. Lia Viterbo is simply the best. She is almost unbelievably caring and invested in her patients well being. On top of that she is a world class surgeon. I credit her with prolonging my life by diagnosing my situation well, explaining my options in understandable terms, and executing a very complex surgery. When, after initial positive indicators, the cancer returned she counseled me to quickly engage with a radiation oncologist. At this point, my cancer has been undetectable for over a year If you need cancer care, you owe it to yourself to find the best available treatment .
