List of Rowena Mcbeath Md's Reviews
She has been awesome with my wife diane. Caring!!! I don’t understand any of these bad reviews. She was not rushing and my wife is in less pain.
Dr. McBeath was courteous, caring, thorough, and a joy to see. She laid out a clear plan from the get go which I appreciated immensely. Being a provider myself, it was nice to not be rushed out the door and to have my case explained to me in detail. Moreover, her office staff was kind enough to schedule me as an add on appointment on the day I called. I thoroughly recommend her and all of her colleagues at her practice
I have seen everything you can imagine a a nurse with 30 years experience in critical care, trauma , military air evacuation and recovery room care. Only a handful of doctors impress me. Dr. McBeath is an angel with the skill, knowledge, passion and care that is second to none. Grace & skill with compassion are witnessed by the nurses who see everything. Other surgeons can not come close. I’ve witnessed her compassion when she explains an urgent operation to a frail little lady who broke her hand late at night on a weekend. I’ve seen her calmly and professionally explain the operation to a frustrated man who cut off many fingers only to awaken after a marathon surgery overnight that other doctors may have walked away from . I notice and other nurses notice the few ‘true heroes’ that make a difference. If my family member gets hurt, I pray that she is available and so should you!
She’s nasty!!
Dr. McBeath is one of the most knowledgeable physicians I’ve ever encountered. As soon as she saw my x-rays, she knew my diagnosis. Not only that, but she immediately recognized an underlying rare condition as well. It was so quick that I obviously had to go home and research it more, comparing my own x-rays to those online. I was SO impressed. As someone else mentioned, she did seem a bit stiff to me, but I also saw her for 10-15 minutes. I don’t expect her to cozy up and ask for my life story. She didn’t have a negative disposition. She didn’t do anything extreme my first go around, opting for a minimally invasive treatment plan. I did return for a follow up and she was completely fine. She smiled too.
Dr Rowena McBeath kept me waiting in a tiny room for over an hour. When she came into the room, she was too much in a hurry to listen to my concerns. She must have rushed into the room where I was at least twice and left twice before she was able to address my concerns ( I should have filmed this chaotic behavior of her running all over the place, because it’s hard to explain or tell anyone to try to imagine it)! When she found the time to complete my visit, Dr McBeath gave me a paper and told me to go to physical therapy, but she forgot (or didn’t have the time) to tell me why she was sending me there. However, my rheumatologist told me what I needed to have done, and it wasn’t what she had sent me to physical therapy for... I saw McBeath twice, and these were the 2 worst doctor visits of my entire life!. ..Besides being in a rush, not listening or explaining what she was doing, I found her bedside manner to be demeaning and insulting. And her physical therapist had no time to show me anything until I insisted on it. ..Because my visits to this Doctor were so bad, my rheumatologist gave me a referral stating explicitly what my treatment needed to be. And I took that referral to a hand specialist ( who believes in being courteous, pleasant, listening and explaining). And I only waited 15 min to see him! What a surprise! And what a relief! ..The phila hand center in the St Clare Bldg at St Mary’s Hospital in Langhorne, PA doesn’t send patients emails to fill out about their visits, and I can clearly understand why.
If I could give Dr McBeath a zero, I would! She kept me waiting in a tiny, uncomfortable room for over an hour, and finally entered with an attitude that she’s the best and the best don’t apologize! She’s in too much of a hurry (rushing from one room and one patient to another) to listen or care about what any one person is saying. I was there twice. And I’ll remember it as the two worst doctor visits of my life. She didn’t explain what she was doing. And when I questioned her, her reply was demeaning. If i learned anything from McBeath, it was how to say NO!, STOP! and EXPLAIN WHAT YOU’RE DOING! McBeath sees patients in a hand and shoulder facility that people with pain or concerns should avoid at all costs! .
Awesome experience, if visiting a doctor for surgery can be awesome. Dr. McBeath explained my all options, her plan of care and answered all questions. Visits seemed short yet she conveyed all needed information.
Extremely knowledgeable personable, caring, physician. During examination she stated exactly what she was about to do. A model physician.
Dr Mcbeath is an amazing surgeon. She is so friendly and so talented. She has made me feel at peace throughout the 10 surgeries she has performed so far to save my hand / arm after an extremely severe blast injury. I am so grateful to have her as my surgeon. Highly recommend!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
