Her tone with me was condescending both times I had to speak with her. The medical advice she gave me was described by another doctor to be "conservative to a fault." I hope I do not have to see her again. Other doctors/residents in Jefferson Labor and Delivery are much more friendly and reasonable.

Denies medication and necessary survives to people she considers fat and drug seeking. Does not perform proper screening to solicit key information. Makes assumptions about patients based on their appearance and race.

Dr. Sandra Dayaratna was very unprofessional during my family member visit. She validated the rights of the patient and misguided information concerning images that was diagnosed by other doctors and proceeded to covered it up by saying that all of the test was normal. When she showed the report on computer it showed some abnormalities which became very concerning that she didn’t read the most recent report before coming in the room. After a short while she ask me to step out the room without asking the adult patient to make the decision for their self or consent to have the medical student in the room which is protocol. After removing myself from the patient room she proceeded to ask my family member very uncomfortable questions about me and my family. There was no indication of any sort to approach the patient in such a humiliating manner. I was truly taken away that this happened. This should never happen to anyone.

She found my diagnosis after I went to three other doctors who didn't help me. Ran late but probably because very thorough. As she said she gives each patient the time they need.

I went to see Dr. Dayaratna very recently after 10+ years at another gyn, (I was referred to the center from a colleague who had experience with the same issue)from the Helens O Dicken's Women Ctr that is a part of HUP. After being ignored, misdiagnosed or not being treated for what THEY diagnosed me with I finally took the step to see another doctor. Very nice, quiet, clean, and efficient place and the doctor within 20 minutes and after review of my records there is a plan and I'm feeling confident that this may just work. SO glad I took that step.

Dr Dayaratna has been my physician only briefly but I knew immediately she was the doctor for me. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is thorough with exams and problem solving. While researching my new doctor I discovered she is a leader and an educator. I highly recommend her for an OBGYN!

Dr.Dayaratna performed my open abdominal myomectomy in May 2019, and She was Wonderful. Dr. Dayaratna removed several fibroid of different sizes this surgery was complex I had a speedy , Healthy recovery, She was patient and bedside matters were professional. I would highly recommend her. Thank You Dr. Dayaratna. ST
