The best physician I have been to yet. He should have ten stars. No other physician or hospital could figure out what was wrong with me, Dr. Cohen had it figured out on the first visit. He is amazing.

Dr. Sidney Cohen did not seem to care in the slightest about my hormone replacement therapy treatment, or as he would very inappropriately call it, my "gender issues." In fact, I would not be surprised if he had personal prejudice and a complete lack of any education on it, because that's how it felt from the demeanor he gave me. He repeatedly kept saying the 2 months of hormones I've been on is the reason for my GI issues even though they have worsened throughout my entire life before I started any treatment. I told him that I had a preferred name that I am addressed by, and he ignored it, entirely. He told me that I was a "biological male," and did I need to mention the unnecessary amount of times he used my birth name? I expect more from a healthcare provider that prides itself in offering LGBTQ+ services while completely lacking the safe space and other services needed for it. I hope Dr. Sidney Cohen is refrained from ever having LGBTQ+ patients.

When no one could diagnose me or help me this Doctor did. He has gone out of his way to help even though I required special treatment that is not the norm. He found a way to help me when others could not. I will forever be grateful. He also referred me to another doctor when he needed to.
