If this is the Mehta that tends to patients at the Howser-Newman Surgical Ceneter in Tamaqua (Mahoning Valley), PA you want to stay as far away as possible. If your willing to wait six hours to see her for two minutes this is the place you want to go. Wear a cow bell because she runs patients through her hallway like cows in a chute. The only thing missing are the cattle prods. I wouldn't even address her as doctor since she doesn't deserve that title.

The techs are very pleasant, calm and pleasant. The nurses are informative and happy to answer your questions. Dr Mehta is gentle, encouraging, happy to answer any questions I had and I trust her absolutely.

Saw this doctor at Mid Atlantic Retina Center. She rushed the whole time, was more concerned about putting notes in her computer. No diagnosis given, recommended that I go to a specialist in a different location for more testing. Totally wasted my time.

I have been seeing Dr. Mehta since 2015 and feel fortunate to have her as my physician for my detached retina care. She is always very pleasant, professional and obviously is extremely competent in her field.
