Stacey Su's Online Review Report Card

I would only wish a story like this, on all of Dr. Su’s patients I do have to say she was kind and brilliant We came from Abington Hospital with a Cantelope sized tumor in our lung We were told it was in operable And basically to get our stuff together That was a very bad two weeks All of the doctors we saw we’re actually excellent Dr. Su had the benefit of several more diagnostics When Dr. Su came into the room at Fox Chase Cancer Center Through her tears my partner asked her Are you sure there’s nothing that can be done And Dr. Su said, don’t worry about it we’re going to operate, remove the tumor and cure you I’ve already mentioned that Dr. Su was both kind and brilliant Fox Chase Cancer Center was very good all the way through But wherever you go, make sure you’re your own advocate They saved my partner in the most kind, compassionate and brilliant way possible And I am a chiropractor and I love these doctors Thank you, Dr Su and your team and your hospital and for just being kind and for saving Blancha‘s life I love you You get a poem I think you are kind, but also tough and this is one I hope to help save the world with PHILOSOPHY HUNKER DOWN Hunker Down If a boy is sweet The empathetic boys, who are sweet, nice, kind and good Unbelievably are the children that are not understood They are ignored in school and sport for the bad kids that are rewarded for their bad mood And sit in class without being called on Because to talk out of turn would be rude And sit on the bench with their feelings, and just brood Well, the adults around them just stood Ignored for their empathy, and ignored for their kind The bad kids get all the attention And the good kids really do mind To reward good behavior for ones would be sublime I had to raise tough girls, because of the man up men in the world But I will raise gentle boys, because when we raise gentle girls, they become tough men’s toys But when we learn kindness, instead of brutality Man up will be no more, and we can hunker down Hunker down instead of man up and man up will be no more No matter who was in line first And no matter what the score When we show off by being kind and good We will be showing all that is that we finally understood Hunker down instead of man up and don’t run into the bullets Frey Hunker down instead of man up and fighting and war will end this day Hunker down with kindness is the virtue for the world to save Bravery is the prime virtue for without it, the others decay So I will raise gentle boys who are romantic and believe in true love I will raise gentle boys, and trade in the eagle for a dove I will raise gentle boys, who hunker down to save the world I will raise them gently, so there can be peace and true love (between boys and girls) Paul Teich The Piet. 2023. Dr Su is is an amazing doctor, a physician who combines vast knowledge and experience with perfect bed-side manners. We can't recommend Dr. Su highly enough. Best doctor for all your thoracic oncology needs. 5 stars indeed.

Cancer is such a scary experience to say the least. However we were blessed to have Dr Su and her staff taking care of us. Thanks to her skills as a surgeon my husband is cancer free. The care we received from her and her staff was so comforting. You are blessed if Dr Su is your doctor.

Dr. Stacey Su is one of the best doctor I have ever seen. She takes care my mother last 3 plus year. she is very caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this doctor.

6/27/2021 Dear Fox Chase, I recently had Esophageal cancer and was treated at your hospital. I had Chemo with Dr Igor and Radiation w Dr Murray. They were both wonderful. Then I had surgery w Dr Su and honestly, I don’t know how I would have gotten through it with out her and her team. I am sorry to say that i dont remember all of the names of her team, but Dr Espinosa (male) and Kaitlyn (PA) do stick out in my mind. Luckily I have not had much experience with hospitals, but a hospital during Covid was tough. I ended up being in the hospital for almost a month, and it was scary and lonely, Dr. Su was there every day (it felt like) and was so reassuring and compassionate. I looked forward to seeing her and her team. I also had some fabulous nurses that took care of me. I was in ICU for a couple of days and then I went to one nurses station and then moved almost immediately to my “forever station.” Jason seemed to be in charge (young man with dark hair tattoos) I want to mention that Dr Su was also so responsive to the nurses. If they had a question she always got back to them. I wanted to mention the nurses, too. All were fantastic, working hard to make me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. (Jason (tattoos),Tra, Lisa, Lillya, Neara, Jenn, Marilyn, Ashanti, Sharon, Jessica, Isabelle, Mo Abby, Leah, Sophie) Dr Su had a repor with all of them. The mentioned nurses and MAs loved her, too. They had so much faith in her which helped me even more. Even the receptionist on #2, LaShanna was always cheerful and helpful.. No wonder Fox Chase is so well known; you hire the best! Back to Dr Su, she communicated with my husband who was home and very nervous with me being by myself; the patience she showed was unbelievable! She also communicated with my daughter who is a nurse as well. Between Cassie (my daughter) and Dr Su, they put our minds at ease. As horrible an experience, being in the hospital for almost a month, alone, away from my family, this could have been, it turned out to be really wonderful. I just had a check up and it looks like for now I am doing really well;! I was nervous coming back to Fox Chase, I was met with the same caring compassionate people I remembered from my stay. From the imaging people to the nurses, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for making my stay so comfortable. Thank you all for being the best you you could be. My wife was scheduled for foot surgery. And during her pre-testing a nodule showed upon her X-ray on her lung. So another great Dr. Richard Greenburg from Fox Chase recommended Dr. Stacey Su. We made an appointment and met with Dr. Su She addressed the nodule was a great Doctor and the communication was great .I should of wrote this a couple of years ago.

John Giannone in 2017 Dr Stacey sue saved my life. She performed a lobectomy of my right lung in an 8and half hour surgery. Thankyou Dr Su. If it wasnt for you and my oncologist dr. Kehoe and radiologist Dr. Davies I would not be here today. Thankyou for my Life

She is the most skillful surgeon and kindest physician. You are blessed if she is your doctor. She performed surgery on my non-smokers lung cancer, brilliant work. She also treated my daughter (who passed away July 17, 2019 at age 41) For a heart related issue. My daughter was a terribly difficult patient, and Dr. Su treated her with love and respect.

Dr. Su is a highly professional talented doctor who is also an extremely caring person. She clearly explains her recommendations and takes the time to ensure all details are well understood. We have never felt rushed and know that her caring for her patients goes well beyond the immediate issue. We highly recommend Dr. Su.
