My husband had cataract surgery on both eyes done by Dr. Lichtenstein years ago and had a great experience. When it came time for me to have cataract surgery, I only wanted to go to Dr. Lichtenstein. He took as much time as I needed to explain everything. I had cataract surgery on my left eye by Dr. Lichtenstein in May of 2018. I just had cataract surgery on my right eye last week by Dr. Lichtenstein. Both procedures were a pleasant experience. Everything was explained in detail as it was being done and my hand was held the whole time. I cannot believe how clear and bright that my vision is. I had my left eye done so that I can read and use the computer. My right eye is now for distance. It is amazing how perfect my vision now is. I can read signs and see at night. I no longer need contacts. I was treated with the utmost care and concern at all times. I would highly recommend Dr. Lichtenstein, his office staff and the staff at the surgery center.

In my opinion, Dr. Lichtenstein does exactly as he says when he talks about his patient care philosophy, and more!!. He put me completely at ease concerning my cataract surgery by listening to what I had to say. He is a professional with a warm and friendly manner. There are doctors and then there are practitioners with a high degree of skill and confidence. A confidence that is transmitted to his patients creating a nimble endearment of trust and well being not found in most doctor- patient relationships. The Dr. Stephen Lichtensteins of the medical world are few and far between. Everything was explained to me in a slow, simple easy to understand manner including options for treatment. The office technicians and OR staff were like no other. The Very Best!

This the "Go To Guy" when you need a "Go To Guy". I wish he had other specialties outside of Ophthalmology. I'd let this guy do brain surgery on me...........Office staff was top shelf as far as knowledge and efficiency. OR staff.......penultimate patient care......someone held my hand during the procedure......how comforting that was during a stressful time. My vision is now perfect. Overall opinion.......I wish I had two more eyes with cataracts so I could go back.......

Gave mono vision that I did not request. On one eye lens is lifting and cannot be corrected. Living with blurred vision in one eye.

Dr. Lichtenstein and his wonderful support staff performed cataract / vision correction on both of my eyes with the surgeries being 18 months apart. He took into consideration my profession (Dentist) as well as other relevant information and presented options . The surgeries were low stress and the results are truly, amazingly perfect. Life quality has gone way up! I highly recommend Dr. Lichtenstein and staff to anyone in need of eye care.

Dr Lichtenstein performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The results have been spectacular. I'm now driving without glasses for the 1st time in 45 years, and can read extremely small print again. Driving at night, which was becoming very difficult due to glare, is no longer a problem. The difference in the brightness of colors is startling. The best analogy is the movie The Wizard of Oz, which started in black and white, and dramatically changed to technicolor. Dr Lichtenstein returned me to a technicolor world. My experience with the staff at both Ophthalmic Partners and the Main Line Surgery Center was nothing but positive.

Dr. Lichtenstein is one of the finest medical professionals that has ever treated me. He did cataract surgery on my right eye 3 years ago and just did my left eye. 100% satisfied with the results.
