I was referred to Dr. Heller for a special procedure to remove a polyp when it couldn't be done during a routine colonoscopy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Heller to others. I live in Delaware but I will willingly make the hour drive to get a follow up colonoscopy from Dr. Heller because I feel confident that with him I am getting the best possible care. Even though he has a very busy schedule he takes the time to call you and inform you personally about your condition and treatment. He is also excellent at follow up. He is a great asset to Temple.

My boyfriend and I were recommended to Dr. Heller from Dr. O'Conner. He had to have a procedure done and when we called the office they were very friendly and professional. We also asked if we could see Dr. Heller in person before the procedure. Dr. Heller personally called us and made time for us to meet with him before the procedure. He explained in detail what he had to have done and took more time then we ever expected and also asked us if we had any questions. The procedure was scheduled, the day of went very smoothly from the receptionist to the nurses to Dr. Heller! He came out and explained to me how my boyfriend's surgery went. He followed up with him, not just once but twice. He had to refer him to another surgeon as his area of specialty did not include what he had to have done. Dr. Heller followed up several times to make sure he got a response. I would highly recommend Dr. Heller to anyone that needs this type of surgery. One of the best doctors we have met!
