Stephen Sturtz's Online Review Report Card

Called my pharmacy to refill my prescription and they tell me the drs office didn't get back to them to add refills, so I called the office and the answering machine says they closed December 16th...no letter or notice, so only having 3 days left of my prescription, I scrambled to sign on with a new primary so I can get my BP med. How rude... over 30yrs there and a slip out we're closed with no notice.. awful! Temple health should have made sure letters went out to his patients

If you want a reliable helpful primary office don't come here. If YOU'RE looking for preventive care DONT COME HERE. DR. Sturtz who is my primary for a while now hasn't done anything for me but take my money. My labs have some concerns abnormal levels and he said it's nothing. But I have all these symptoms. I cant get an appt for 4months! That's obsurd considering I'm having a problem and I'm an established patient. They recommend the ER and the Er recommend seeing my family doctor as they cant order routine blood test to check my b12 and vitamin D etc. as a patient and medical assistant who cares about people its sad to see these people don't. yrs ago the nurse didnt wear gloves when giving me an injection. i was disgusted , shocked and speechless when i reacted i told the doctor she should wear gloves.. he said oh shes fine .... (my thoughts what?! .. i feel helpless as a patient here its been a few yrs giving them another chance to see if maybe it was bad timing or something but they continue to not be helpful and the receptionist are so mean. They Talk with an attitude. And When I ask to speak to the doctor or a call back they say he isnt here . When I asked to see any other doctor they said that they dont see each other's patients 😒.

Do yourself a favor find another place. Can never get a hold of this office!!!

I’d give him 0 stars if I could. All he ever did was sweet talk and made it seem like he cared. In one ear and out of the other… I told him my own medical issues/record. And it wasn’t even in any of the TEMPLE system. He claimed to get done all the blood work I specifically ASKED for. He didn’t do ANY of it. Just the normal routine ones. So in 2019, I got it proven by an endocrinologist and he just acted so shocked. DO NOT GOT HERE if you’re serious about your physical/mental health. Because he doesn’t care. Just another doctor that cares about the paycheck, not the patients!

Dr.Strutz is an amazing doctor but the reception is terrible I called the day before and spoke to a women to make an appointment and never received a call back things happen and maybe the day got busy I called today and tried to schedule an appointment and because of some poor cell reception I had to have a date repeated to me twice with that being said having to repeat yourself shouldn’t be an issue when you sit behind a desk and work with phones and appointments and scheduling that’s your job she then got loud and aggressive and told me I was combative that’s not the right word to you so I will most likely find a new doctor which is sad since I’ve been going to him for 10 plus years you have a good day Tina

Will not return to this office. Professionalism is a non entity.

rude staff and the NP Nameeah Alston is just as rude.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Sturtz and he is very happy with Doc’s bedside manner. Office staff is very helpful, professional and are always willing to go above and beyond to help my husband.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sturtz for several years. (1) Very hard to get a hold of them over the phone. Nearly impossible ! And (2) Their commitment to resolving patient issues in a timely fashion is below standards. Would not recommend this office

Dr stutz is on call this wkend. My reg dr office seemed to forget to renew my prescriptions. He took his time to respond to page and only renewed one prescription. He said he refuses to renew another prescr that os an ssri. From the comments on this review im glad he is not my doctor. If staff are unhappy maybe because he needs to better manage his office. I will also complain to temple about this.
