My brother was diagnosed with metastatic cancer on Tuesday- by Friday Dr Asbell had a game plan and we were on our way and knew she had our backs. She is a straight shooter, takes no prisoners, and I feel he is in the best possible hands with her. If you want warm fuzzies and beating around the bush, go somewhere else; if you want answers and definitive decisions, she's the one for you. She makes herself available 24/7 which is SO unusual, and all I can say is I wish more MD's were like her.

She is very rude to her staff and is not passionate about her work. She doesn't listen to your complaints and sends negative reports to other doctors. She doesn't care about her patients and only wants you to come back for follow-ups so she can get paid. Save yourself the stress and find a more caring doctor

Too early to give a complete assessment, but she was very thorough during our meeting. At times though, I felt as if she hadn't fully reviewed my case prior to the appointment. It is evident she's extremely well-experienced, but is a fast talker, too. You have to slow her down to answer your questions.
