She is the best doctor 😍

...it depends communication wise in what you want in a doctor. I find her demeanor to be a bit 'casual' and seems almost annoyed when questioned. She may not be the right doctor for someone a bit introverted or timid. Beat suited for a younger patient used to that type of demeanor from their peers.

I enjoyed having Dr. Clarke as my surgeon. She let me know upfront what was expected of me and that I would be held accountable because ultimately if I wasn't ready to make changes in my lifestyle, surgery would be wasted time and money. She was friendly and professional and answered all my questions and made sure I knew EVERYTHING including all the risks if this elective surgery. I would definitely recommend her to others.

No intention of giving you weight loss surgery. String you along for a year or two until you lose the weight yourself or you give up. Worst staff too.

The best bariatric surgeon ever. Dr. Clark did my surgery and am very much pleased with the outcome.

She is thorough. She really takes the time to speak to you and explain everything. She is warm and personable. She makes you feel at ease and I am confident in her abilities.

Would definitely recommend Dr. Clarke to others. Very attentive, cares about patient concerns, takes time to listen, thoroughly explains and makes sure you understand. Excellent bed-side manner.

Dr. Clarke has very poor bedside manner. She is not sensitive to her patients weightloss issues. Her staff is ALWAYS running late. I've had 6 appointments in the past 6 months with dietitians, PAs and Dr. Clarke herself. Everytime I've been made to wait over an hour and a half to be seen. They never have an explanation or even an apology. Dr. Clarke had an "emergency" where she requested that I come in earlier (by 1.5 hrs) than my scheduled 2:45 appointment. I was STILL made to wait until AFTER my original appointment time to be seen. The staff also promised to work with me so that my surgery would be done by the end of the year in order to have coverage for insurance reasons. They failed to turn in my authorization paperwork on time, resulting in a two week delay and a surgery date in 2014. Now I can't AFFORD to have the surgery at all and even if I could I no longer have the time off work. The insurance person dodges calls and the reception staff could care less. Horrible service!

Poor bedside manner! Dr. Clarke does not make you comfortable to talk about your weightloss issues. She makes me feel guilty, more so than I already do for being overweight. She and her staff have no regard for the time of others. I've had 6 appointments in the last 4 months at the office in Jeane's Hospital and have been made to wait over 1.5 hrs each time. Dr. Clarke had an emergency one day and her staff requested that I come in almost 2 hours before my scheduled time. I shifted my schedule to accomodate and was still seen AFTER my originally scheduled time. Unnaceptable! Dr. Clarke and her staff promised to work with me regarding scheduling my surgery prior to the end of the year for insurance purposes. Eventhough I understand that I was late in starting the process I would have expected them to inform me if they felt that we wouldn't have enough time to schedule everything prior to having me meet my deductible and out of pocket and still scheduling a surgery in 2014! Now I have to start ALL over again with my insurance portion. Not only that but the woman who manages the insurance claims forgot to submit my claim in time resulting in a two week delay. They didn't even have the dignity to inform me. I only found out because I called my insurance company to check the status. She dodged all of my calls and when she eventually called back, she had no apology to offer. Bottom line, they wasted all of my time and all of my savings dedicated to this surgery. Now, I can't afford to have the surgery at all and don't even have the time off work even if I could afford it. Thank you, Dr. Clarke and Jeane's Bariatric Staff. I suggest you avoid this practice at ALL COST.
