I recommend The Healing Way for treatment. This is the first place I have been to where I have been treated like a human and that they care about my mental health and sobriety. Ms.Toye is a great therapist and group leader who cares bout your treatment if you care about it. Jenn is also another great therapist. Healing Way I know I’m at the right place with the right people by my side! THANKS GUYS

I was a patient of the healing way and was under going therapy I missed some appointments with my therapist and her supervisor Matthew Hoffman called me and Blatantly disrespected me he said if I’m not going to come to therapy I can go elsewhere. I explained to him that my therapist and I did not always meet at our appointed time and he called me a liar several times and told me I’m wasting their time. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said “ there is no one above me this is the end of the line for you.” I was distraught I could not believe that someone at a place I went for help could speak to me in that manner. He had no regard for how it made me feel. I went in to the office to talk about how he disrespected me and after he found out I wasn’t recording he spoke to me even more disrespectful he said I disrespected his therapist by missing my appointments. Never in my life would I thought someone who is supposed to be helping me could make me feel that way. This has really changed my mind about therapy how could I go somewhere for help and get talked to like I was nothing. (F.y.i a lot of people go here after being released from prison or are forced to go here I am not one of those people I walked in myself)he talked to me like I was the scum of the earth and I’m sure he probably speak to many people that come here like this and they probably never speak up. This has been a terrible experience I am scared to get help from this point forward because I don’t want this to happen again. I don’t recommend this office to anyone unless you aren’t going to miss any appointments because he will come for you like he came for me.

This place is garbage! I came here for therapy care and they don't care about you! I have had three different therapist since August of 2023 and this is just ridiculous! They need to do a whole lot better.

They have a lady there named Shakira, who’s helped my family tremendously!! Would think about going anywhere else. So thankful!

So this place has helped a family member of mine in the past and turned their life completely around when I thought nothing would change. Big thank you to the members of the healing way and the friendly and great staff for helping my family through one of the darkest times!!!

I started using drugs at the age of 14. I was addicted by 18. Heroin consumed my life at 21. I was lost, miserable, hopeless and was just existing. Life was rehabs, recovery houses and state sentences. In 2020, I surrendered and called The Healing Way. I was on methadone prior to coming here, but I wasn't ready to get clean. The Healing Way has allowed me to find myself again and provide me with the tools I need to stay clean and live a productive life. I am treated like a human being and have never felt less than. The staff at The Healing Way genuinely cares for us all and will do whatever is needed to help us stay clean! I am beyond grateful for this place!

The first step saved my life and the healing way helped me keep going and make it better. If you’re not serious, don’t go here, because they are serious about sobriety and will not allow you to give up on yourself. Don’t get me wrong they will work with you and try to understand you but they help you be accountable. I can truly say that I love my therapist Natasha and more importantly, I trust her. I trust her because I believe and feel she cares about my growth, well being and invests in this journey with me. From Gabby the director, both my nurses, Shakira, Matt and the Dr. Baylis; each one has went the extra mile for me at some or many points. Each one treats me like I am a part of THW family. They support me, encourage me, make me laugh and work with me.
