They submitted incorrect insurance for my infusion, then after I managed to get the pre-approval in time for my initial appointment they refused to reschedule me until the following week. When I got upset about this they were more concerned with my tone than my healthcare. Do not come here, they are not responsible with patient care and then punish neurological patients reacting to it.

In network, Doylstown ER discharged and sent my mother here for an fast tracked appointment. Expecting her to get the assistance she needed quickly.<br><br>Setup an appointment with her at UPenn Neurology for out of pocket at 500 dollars upfront. UPenn scheduling called back next day to cancel appointment that they will not schedule without insurance, gave no plan of action, doesn't take Medicare, independance 65 focus, out of pocket or ablepay.<br><br>My mothers GP office also attempted to work to in an attempt figure out what happened, expedite everything in the background and was given the run around<br><br>In network hospital to UPenn, Doylstown sends someone to UPenn neurology and no one checks anything. Your system basically ejected her from care with no plan of action, shame on these companies. To top it all off Doylstown told her to not return since they do not have the facilities to figure out what is wrong.<br><br>This is unacceptable.<br><br>Would give less stars if possible.

I've been seeing doctors here for years for MS. Neuros at Penn first gnored my symptoms for years and treated me like I was lying until I had a flare that hospitalized me. Once Dx'd they continued to gatekeep care and dealt lazily with my insurance company.<br><br>Recently they told me if I wanted my meds reevaluated I'd need to get a spinal tap. I did this in their office and ended up with complications and debilitating migraines 24h later. After numerous calls and messages to their office, no one contacted me back. I ended up having to go to the ER for a basic procedure they promised me they could do in office if complications arose. I'm now out of pocket hundreds of dollars and days of my life because of the incompetence and callous indifference of the staff at this facility.

Dr Spindler and staff are not effective at all. The last time I was there all she did was look at her watch. Unfortunately there are not many neurologist in the area that deal with Parkinson's.

This hospital is TERRIBLE. The staff is terrible. They want your money. They don’t care about your health. My wife has epilepsy. She has reported multiple tonic clonic seizures. They advised her they’d cLl her within 72 hours. They called her two weeks later. The delay they blamed on nurses being on vacation. When she got upset, she was hung up on. I watch my wife who is the sweetest person get put through hell only to be made to look like a maniac when she advocates for herself over careless doctors. It’s bothersome to say the least. One star is too high of a rating. I wish I could leave 0 stars

Dr. Omar Choudri and his team, we're amazing! I was diagnosed in 2021,March 26th to be exact with an aneurysm that ruptured. When I say, the care was top tier and excellent! My nurses were very attentive, and catered to my needs. And I'm alive because of them ALL.

I’ve been a patient a pen urology since they were in the original hospital over 20 years ago I started there. I swore by them because they were great, not anymore. They have made me and other people I know that I’ve recommended their feel like nothing but a number. I am extremely disappointed in how they disregard their patients and treat them like they’re just nothing but a study. I can’t even get test results while I’m having seizures for three weeks because they haven’t taken the time to just call me and give me results of an EEG. I will not be recommending them to anyone else any further in fact I will be telling people to steer clear

So glad I did choose to come to Upenn (I have been going for a few years now). Dr.Gelfand and Dr.Becker are great and are the reason I have answers in regards to my seizures and are the reason I now have my seizures semi controlled. Any time you have a question, you are able to ask by email or online and either get a response or phone call if needed. The appointments are great and the office and staff are quick to help. Saw a doctor who is doing her fellowship in seizures by the Name of Dr Barbara M Decker for neuro clearance I needed for another procedure. The entire appointment Dr Decker seemed completely disinterested in anything I had to say. I then got the studies she requested done and the correspondence Between the nurse Robbin , doctor and myself seemed to be nothing but an inconvenience on their part.<br>I myself have worked in a neurologist’s office for many years and my mother was a neuro nurse for almost 20 years that being said the level of bedside manner between the professionals are not lacking but nonexistent. Thankful I only had to go for clearance because I would not want to go back.

Dr. John Lee is the best. He is professional, yet kind. My mom had an acoustic neuroma removed; he explained everything and was very thorough. My mom’s procedure went exceptionally well...she did not have any facial paralysis and got back to her normal routine within a couple of months! My family and I would like to thank Dr. Lee and everyone involved for taking care of my mother. I trust Penn and their exceptional care and knowledge. I can’t express my gratitude enough.
