Dr Popii was referred to me by my Primary as an emergency newly diagnosed Type 1 Diabetes patient I was given an appointment almost immediately. Very unusual these day as usually a wait of months to see a specialist. She spent a lot explaining how to manage this new situation and gave ne her cell phone number to be able to text her day or night. Ger responses to my texts were quite prompt. I would highly recommend her and am just sorry she doesn't take Medicare.

Before visiting her , she had spent some time to reviewe my medical report from some years ago up to now which was so impressive to me . She spent plenty of time to listen to me and discuss about my peratiroid issue... she seems she was very experience doctor and felt lots of confidence on her and her advise, Definitely I recommend this knowledgefull , experience and cayring endocrinologist to any patient ...

I've seen Dr. Violetta Botea Popii for about 10 years. She is outstanding. She diagnosed and cured my thyroid problem and has provided great advice and guidance on other medical matters. She's patient, a great listener and always responsive.

In addition, she has been invaluable in helping me manage my weight and blood sugar. She has a great network of fellow physicians and is always there to help.

Best doctor I have seen. She took the time to listen and found my tumor. She was my fifth endocrinologist I was losing hope. Totally amazing.

Dr. Popii was unhurried, very thorough, and extremely personable. She examined both of my daughters for different reasons; and in the end, she left both of them feeling as if their care was her top priority. I would definitely recommend!

As a 20+ year diabetic who has moved frequently, I have been to many endocrinologists in my life. Out of all the Endos that I have visited, Dr. Popii is clearly "the best." One reason is that she spends the appropriate amount of time to explain the nature of the problem and the course of treatment. (I have never felt rushed.) Second, she knows EVERYTHING about diabetes and isn't afraid to say when she isn't sure of something. Finally, in talking to patients, she is clear, kind, & helpful.

Did not listen to a word I said. I developed Type 1 diabetes at age 30 and had diabetic ketoacidosis, with blood sugar level of 858. All she heard was "age 30" so she wanted me to get off insulin? I guess she thought I was type 2. I said, "well, I'd be dead in 3 days." I had to show her the hospital report I brought with me from 1996 and she still didn't look at it even when I pointed it out. More worried about showing photos of her new baby on her cellphone than anything else. Avoid this place.
