This dr should not be practicing he does not listen . To the point of having to be read utter twice

Dr Hashem is excellent. Good bedside manner. More very competent. My wife’s surgery was more pain free than expected. We couldn’t have been more pleased.

My relative had him as surgeon. Totally incompetent. Ignored complaints and suffered irreparable problems because of negligence. Do not go to this dr

Horrible surgeon. Incompetent and neglected anything said by patientnurse. Patient was in for a Stoma reversal. Untrustworthy horrible explanation of conditions “can’t be bothered” attitude does not respond refused important testing so that he would not be blamed for horrible medical mistake. Patient advocacy had to be called to demand blood work CT scan. Patient was misdiagnosed with an ileus even though the papers from radiology team stated “POSSIBLE ileus with obstruction not ruled out” Released two days later with no further testing and nothing done about ileus except a handful of paperwork to read. Patient was sent back to ER four days later where a different surgeon found an obstruction bowel leak at reversal site abcess and loads of fluid leaking into body. Patient then underwent major ER surgery where their stoma was brought back or else it would have been fatal and was put in intermediate ICU. The original surgeon never responded to or checked on patient. Run. Far.

Dr. Heshum is the best When I was faced with a very scary diagnosis he made me feel calm and talked me through everything. I owe my life to him and would highly recommend him to everyone. Thank you again Dr. Hesham

Dr. Hesham made my awful 10 month health battle a bit more bearable and less intrusive by being such a gentle confident and very knowledgeable medical doctor He looked me in the eye NEVER rushed me answered every question with clarity and gave me true hope in my treatment. He was truly the best during the very worst time.

Dr. Heshem is very patient. He takes his time with you and makes sure that all your questions are answered. He has a very good bedside manner and genuinely cares about his patients and their families. And he is a skilled surgeon. We would highly recommend him.

Best bowel surgeon. I was walking in hall at hospital and he came to find me to ask if I had questions about my surgery. Very personable.
