William J. Markmann's Online Review Report Card

Dr Markman is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time with his patients and even takes the time to help his former patients. However, the staff at the receptionist desk at the Jeanes location is rude and short tempered. I understand Covid has placed new rules on the waiting area but if the protocol for allowing people safely inside is taken then I do not believe patients or family of said patient should be treated like they have leprecy. My Mom is epileptic and I am her care giver so I attend all of her Dr visits and I am responsible for listening to the Dr ( no matter which Dr it is) since I'll be providing her care at home but for some reason every time we come to the Jeanes location we are told I can't go back with her until the nurse from the back comes to get her and she says it's ok every time. Every one else besides the lady at the front desk is lovely. The Jeanes location is easier for my Mom to get to but the experience we have with the front desk makes me want to take her to the Rockledge Location, the ladies at the receptionist desk are a lot kinder and do not belittle people for needed to care for a disabled person. Covid pandemic or not caring for my Mom has always been my priority and no one should try to get in the way of that. So, yes, by all means go see Dr Markman but if there is a chance you aren't in perfect condition and need assistance go to any of his offices but Jeanes.

I have a hip issue, visited the Dr who reviewed xrays and scans and he then asked to blood work along with another test which were completed and I confirmed that his office has the results. Made 4 calls to his office over a 10 day period and he has not called back. If he doesn't want to treat me or is too busy he just tell me instead of leaving me waiting in pain.

I fractured my left shoulder late October. I am so grateful that Dr. Markmann provided my care and treatment. He was knowledgeable, patient and easy going. He took the time to explain how I was progressing. He was always positive. He would sit down and answer all my questions. He explained and showed me exercises to help in my recovery. I am doing amazing now after three months. I will always be thankful and appreciative for him and his office staff.

I suffered w/osteoarthritis in my left hip nearly 10 years waiting as long as possible before electing for surgery. Met & spoke with several surgeons & recipients of hip replacements over the years & was introduced to Dr Markmann through another surgeon based on damage & degeneration of my hip joint. Dr Markmann was clear, professional and confident in our first meeting as he reviewed my xrays. I appreciated his straight forward manner & recommendations prior to surgery. I highly recommend him!

Dr. markmann did both my knees. He is clear about what the surgery entailed and explains the recovery process. He is professional and his staff is also professional and polite. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Markmann.

rude and wrong diagnoses

Dr Markmann replaced my hip over 20yrs ago did an excellent job. Still have the same one. His office also repaired left shoulder with screws & repaired right knee tear. Have nothing bad to say about this practice. Excellent Drs.
