William L. Laury's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr. Laury a few times in 2019. He struck me as attentive and appropriately concerned with my health. However, he has now become utterly impossible to reach or schedule an appointment with. His phone service always goes straight to voicemail, and voicemails are not returned. He is included in an online system for making appointments, but there is never any confirmation on his end that appointments are received. Stuck with a PCP who is effectively ghosting me, I've had to start looking other options, but the search for another doctor who accepts new patients has been difficult. A shame, because I thought he was a good doctor otherwise.

He's been my doctor for over 30 years. I appreciate his knowledge and professionalism.

This has been the worstdcotor office i have ever been to in my entire life. First of all, i ov e to go to a doctor office where i feel comforable. This doctor office has never greeted me whebn i walked in. They dont ask any questions far as how i am i feeling or what brought me in today. I feel ike they are unorganized and odesnt have everything that a docotor office should have.I really hate this place!!!!! the staff acts like they dont no what the hell they are doing. I would never in my life recommand this place to anyone !

Dr. Laury's nurse/secretary/assistant called about 4 hours before my scheduled appointment to say that Dr. Laury needed to reschedule my appointment to the following day at the same time. Okay, things happen -- so I agreed. I arrived for my appointment and NO ONE WAS THERE! The door was locked and no one answered the phone. I left him a voicemail. I received no return call, apology -- NOTHING! That was last summer. My new doctor just called today to tell me that Dr. Laury's staff still has not transferred my medical records as requested. Dr. Laury does not care about his patients and his staff is totally incompetent.

Lets you know early on that he cares.Not concerned about the money issues.

My father has missed three appointments due to Dr. Laury's incompetent staff. They neglected to send a referrals on three seperate occasions for the same specialist. Now the specialist has to report my father to the insurance company for no shows when he was there but not able to be seen without a referral. The day before the last appointment we called specialist to make sure the referral was in the system, and of course it wasnt. My sister called Dr. Laury and he was very rude to her and hung up on her. My father or anyone else in my family will ever use Dr. Laury's services agian!!!!!

Excellent doctor,very professional,and inspires your confidence. I would reccomend him to my family and friends.

Overall, my experience with Dr. Laury was unpleasant.....he was cold and never me- some of the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. He was hostile toward me and barked out what he would and wouldn't do for me....He made various referals for exams with other specialist without clearly conveying why it would be of benefit (e.g., he had no idea what wad going on medically and did not have a clear line of thinking). Finally, he interpreted me and appeared to be suspicious when I explained that I had already undergone many of the tests he was recommending. And to add insult to injury he treated me like a drug seeking crackhead when I explained that I was interested in sleep medication (non-benzo) because a lack of sleep had been creating distress and declines in my occupational functioning on a day to day basis.
