I have been dealing with a pertruding varicose vein on my lip for years, I went to my family doctor which suggested ears/nose/throat specialist. I went and was told surgery was needed and my insurance would not cover so that it would cost anywhere from 2500- 3000 dollars. I went back to my family doctor who then suggested a dermatologist, I set that appt up and there i was told they have nothing that would work and they suggested a plastic surgeon which lead me to Dr Monteiro who knew what to do right away and after 4 lazor treatments the vein is back to normal. I dont usually write reviews but felt in this case anyone going through what I went through this could help. Dr Monteiro knew just what to do and I was very pleased with him and the ladies that work in that office.

I had sone lipo to lower pouch area and lats. Dr Monteiro has one of the best office staff I’ve come across. All the ladies are terrific. I used Dr. Monteiro because I’d a recommendation by someone I greatly trust. The work was minimal so I moved forward with the consultation. Dr. Monteiro is nice but his he warm and fuzzy no… but I care about his hands and skills in that operating room. He told me what to expect. I went for my 1 week checkup. He answered any concerns I had and sent me on my way.. I will see him again in a few weeks and I expect the same. Through exam and nit to much chatter which again is fine by me. I will be scheduling my breast reduction with him and if the results are as good as the lipo I feel confident I will love the end result.

I had my usual treatment that I’ve been getting since 2002. This time it was done quickly, the pain which I never had before was intensifying, and I ended up with a droopy lid. When I went back to see if we could fix it he was a little bit argumentative with me. I noticed that my skin was drooping and he informed me that he didn’t put the extra skin there. That was a little bit uncalled for.Will not be going back. I have to wait until this wears off. What a waste of $400.

Would have given a ZERO. My father has died this past Sunday after a wound specialist failed to give my dad cadaver skin and appropriate interventions on his scheduled day of surgery. When the surgery was done back in September, within 48 hours of that surgery my dad had a blood infection, and eventually diagnosed with another infection Pseudomonas. He had to get immediate spinal surgery after his spine began to compress and left arm collapsed (the same arm these doctors injected rounds of a pneumonia shot into). The toe ended up also having to get amputated. Absolute disgraceful standards and behavior this doctor, his affiliates, and coordinators have shown. Not even a call during this entire thing to see how he’s been? It’s a public service for me to reach out to inform patients and prospects on what has happened.
