Great hospital wonderful staff they act lik they actually enjoy thier job. Very knowledgeable doctors and yes short wait times; and don't forget you can check in on line and check how long the wait is. How cool is that .if⁵you must go to the emergency room , might as well make it as accommodating as possible. added perks free parking close not miles away. Five stars indeed

I am happy to say that in all my seafaring evolutions and 12 years in the Urban Rehabbing field this was my first job related ER visit. Kudos to the staff at AGH Brentwood. I was in and out and very well treated in 30 minutes.

I was choking on food and they did not have the equipment or the doctors to pull it out of my throat. My airways were not blocked or i would have died.They kept me there for 9 hours giving me pop, water and kind words before deciding to transfer me to jefferson hospital. Jefferson hospital extracted the food and i was ok, but because i went to AHN first, i suffered the entire day for no good reason. They will more than likely reach out to me in order to try to get me to pull down this review. AHN brentwood is unprepared for choking emergencies.

Need chairs in the ER that elderly people can get back up once they sit couldn’t get my mom up easily because she fell on her shoulder

Don’t go to this area, your gonna have to wait for a long time. Waited for 45 minutes before they called me in just for covid testing after the swab waited for other 45 minutes and another 30 minutes again they seems not to carepeople were leaving, I like the one in McKnight they respond quick this is the worse one.

I sat in UPMC East’s emergency room for over 5 hours last Saturday. All they did was take my vitals and send me back to the waiting area. I got so frustrated that I left, and had a prescription for antibiotics called in by a family doctor. Last night I woke up in severe unmanageable pain, so I visited AHN Brentwood this morning. I was done with paperwork, had my vitals taken, and was in a room within 15 minutes. Everyone from the intake concierges to the nurses and doctors were extremely kind. The doctor wrote me a script for stronger antibiotics and something to help manage my pain, and sent me on my way. I was there for maybe one hour in total? Definitely faster than any ER or Med Express I ever visited; they were quicker than my PCP’s office to be honest. You can tell the staff works together as a team, communicates well, and enjoys the work they do. I never had such an easy, efficient, and pleasant hospital experience. 10/10, highly recommend!!
