Ahn Harmar Neighborhood Hospital's Online Review Report Card

Took my husband for care after 9 days of fevers and having labored breathing today. We already knew he had covid because he was tested on Wednesday. The doctor told him he had covid and to go home and take Tylenol and advil as needed. No fluids, nothing!Never again will I waist time going to this facility for care!

So I was impressed when I walk in got taken back and had a CT done within 45 mins. But than it went way down hill. I'm in the room waiting on the CT results and I hear my nurse talking to the Dr and going down the line on every room what is wrong with them what their test results were what medication they had or needed and so on and so forth. I listened to the Dr explain my whole CT scan to the nurse. I mean I could be wrong but I thought hippa stopped that. And it was sad that I had to explain my symptoms and test results to the Dr to prove that i was right about what was wrong with me. I should have just waited the 4 hrs for st Margaret's won't make that mistake again

I brought my elderly parent to the ER to be evaluated. A staff member met us at the front door with a wheelchair as soon as we pulled in. Within 5 minutes they began an evaluation and tests and had an answer on the condition with less than half an hour. Unfortunately they had to be admitted for further care; the staff arranged a transfer with an AHN ambulance to another neighborhood hospital. Less than 2 hours later the other facility contacted me to follow-up on their condition.I have spent alot of time sitting in hospitals and emergency rooms. This was by far at the top of the list for attentive staff, efficiency, and care. I highly recommend this facility. AHN has a winner with this neighborhood hospital concept!

I went there this past Saturday and the nurses and Dr. Groomes were awesome! I was in and out within 30 minutes. I have been dealing with pain for a year and my pcp not knowing what the problem is. Within 24hrs I felt relief with the right antibiotics.

Love it here! They’re always so quick, attentive and friendly.

Dr. Groomes, the Nurses, the CT scan Technician, were extremely kind and personable. I wish I had all of your names to thank personally, but please know I am very grateful for your caring personalities. Thank you for all of your support and kindness while I was in your care.

I recently had the experience of using this facility for a family member. I was concerned because of a couple poor reviews I had seen, but after I had left the hospital I was so glad that my experience was the great one. The check in online is a great feature although it didn’t speed the process up at all, we still had to sit in the waiting room for the same amount of time as if we had walked in.Once we got back to the room they did allow me to come back with my family member who has dementia which was beneficial. All of the staff was professional kind considerate the doctor had an excellent bedside manner. We left with a diagnosis and prescriptions, they even gave him his first dose of antibiotics.They do not do free Covid testing there and according to the website it said they don’t do Covid testing but there actually were people there for it. I guess they were a self-pay.The only thing I wish they had done was ask the patients that were being tested for Covid to wait outside versus in the waiting room with elderly patients that are there for other reasons other than Covid.Great ER experience and will use again! Way better than AVH!!!

I had a horrendous experience last night and was mistreated by the nursing staff. No help from the manager this morning when trying to call. I will be filing a health department complain. Patients beware.

The doctor at this hospital is so RUDE and impatient! Dr. Androni Henry was the emergency room doctor that I had during my visit. When she ask me about my issues she started yelling at me! So RUDE to be screamed at when you don’t feel well!! Also she stood 50 feet away as if I had some serious contagious disease I understand it’s a pandemic but c’mon you have head to toe protective gear on and you can’t get a little closer give me a break! I also got the feeling she disliked taking care of people or she hated her job which is very bad when your a emergency room physician. Don’t go to this hospital they will tell you nothing is wrong and send you home with ibuprofen which I can’t take cause I have kidney issues! Such a waste of time and money!
