List of Ahn Mccandless Neighborhood Hospital's Reviews
I went in on New Years Eve morning because I have symptoms that could be COVID. I was greeted at the front desk by a woman who asked what was wrong with me from about 10 feet away, and I really don’t like to announce my health to everyone in the room. I said that I have symptoms and she looked at me like I had three heads and she said “this is an emergency room, not a testing facility.” I had been tested there 3 months ago when my son had COVID, and while there is a copay, I didn’t care because testing was not available anywhere else. So they took me back and the nurse taking my vitals asked what is my issue and I told her, and she said the same thing but with more attitude. So I took off my BP cuff and finger pulse monitor and walked out. I told her that this was the second time that I was harassed for wanting a test. Now I have been in UPMC waiting room for 2 hours waiting and they are very respectful, but crowded. Why would AHN care about me getting tested if I am willing to pay for it? And there aren’t any other tests available anywhere. So much for “health care”, as I was an inconvenience at AHN.
Worst hospital ever they charge you multiple times they don't care about the people
Had hurt leg and cut on my face from a fall and they never looked at my leg or even wipe the blood off my face to see how bad that was instead they kept pushing the covid narrative down my throat and when I refused to be tested they had no need for my concerns, would not recommend this place at all.
Go here for my endocrine and dermatologist. Every experience is top tier. Couldn't recommend more!
We just left the Hospital for a cut above my sons eye. The entire staff was amazing and so very kind. We were in and out in no time. Thank you for everything
I cannot say enough about this hospital! I came in yesterday thinking my issues were an easy fix like a pulled muscle and constipation but within no time, I found out it was appendix and it needed out ASAP. They worked w me to get to another hospital w a surgery center and told me the surgeon was great. Putting my mind at ease. I was always cracking jokes due to stress and was so thankful to have Nurse Samantha and everyone else there especially the dr (whose name I forget-sorry) who was extremely helpful. I was operated on last night and home this afternoon. So happy to everyone involved! 5 stars for sure! ( I couldn’t see where to put the stars at)
Chopped the tip of my thumb in half.... It was pretty gnarly to say the least. Great staff with amazing bedside manner. Super clean ER, amazing service. 6 outta 5 stars for sure... would highly recommend if you have a 'minor' emergency like i did. If only AGH proper was half as good. I refuse to go downtown for anything because AGH's ER is a dumpster fire at best
This ER is terrible. I came in cause I was bleeding blood. They said I had a 6mm kidney stone and to go home and pass it. They never looked at urine and I formed a uti and bladder infection by Wednesday. I went to Allegheny general ER and got taken to surgery immediately to get a stent in and then infection drained. The reason I was sent home here is because they “don’t have urology” even tho urology is 24:7 at Allegheny and they could’ve called them. The “doctor” sat me down saying all hospitals are full and I’ll be waiting days for care. His name was David Sharnas. So basically do not go here. If I never came to Allegheny general I would have gotten septic shock!!!! I’ve been in Allegheny general with no problem getting care since Wednesday morning.Attached are the test results he ignored
This was one of the best ER visits I have had. Firstly, the whole place is spotless and very clean. You are then greeted by a competent front desk person. I remembered to ‘check-in’ or hold my place in line before I went, so the wait was not long. Nurse Brandy took me back and was very nice. She asked me what was happening & how I’m feeling, etc. Throughout the introduction, I felt heard and I also felt empathy. It was nice. Then, Dr. Maenza came & sat down. That’s right—sat down to in a seat to listen to what I had to say and what was happening. He reassured me more than once that I made the right decision coming to the ER. As a woman (she/her), it was a breath of fresh air to hear a man assuage my self-doubt. He let me give the spark notes version of the chronic symptoms & his questions showed that he seemed to listen to the patient. As we were discussing a path forward, he asked my opinion, etc. It was nice to be included in the decision making process of my own health. When he left, Brandy asked if I needed anything like a blanket or a drink. It was questions and afterthought like that demonstrated by Nurse Brandy and Dr. Maenza that made me feel at ease. I will definitely return to this ER (& try not to be weird when asking which doctor / nurse are on-call).
30mAnonymousJake Osborn- I thought that Jack was a great actor for this role. He was a amazing actor and should do this for a career. One question I have is why you guys had lippy as a detective. He was not skilled enough for this role by letting the assassin get way. One suggestion I have is to have more funny stuff in the silent film.25mJacob HannyJacob Hanny - I thought that the editing made it effective and more exciting to watch. One question that I have is, why did you use Jackson as the detective. A suggestion I have is to make less transitions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
