List of Alka Kaushik Md's Reviews
I feel she is a good doctor and she gave me injections which went very well. Her staff is very friendly. Over all my experience with her went very well.
Dr Kaushik is always helpful. The appointments are on time and the office staff is polite.
Every visit is like groundhog day the movie. I went to her for two years, and every visit she asks the same questions like it was the first visit. We caught her lying to us several times. She refused to refill a prescription when she knew no other doctor would be able to do that. The medication was to control spinal seizures. She states she is a pain management doctor and only pain management doctors could prescribe that medication. She was just trying to just get rid of me.
It's was like groundhog day, the movie. Every visit she would ask the same questions like it was the first visit. My old pain management doctor retired and handed me over to her, he did not do me a favor. She would ask you a question and when you tried to answer, she would cut you off. She refused to refill one of my prescriptions, that only a pain management doctor could write, that kept my spinal seizures under control and told me to get another doctor to write it. No other doctors would only write one prescription, and divide prescriptions between the two doctors. She is rude and looks at the computer all the time. She has lied to us several times and we caught her at it. And the facility is fifthly. Using the restroom, was like climbing into a roll-off box. After two years of torture, we finally found a doctor that could take us. She is doing it for the money and could care less about what is happening to you.
Run don't walk , she is in it for the money.Doctor Alka dosen't listen to patient worried about how much medicine. Iwish Doctors would just be doctors.
Dr. Kaushik is the best!!! When it comes to pain management, she tries everything to get your pain under control!! She cares, listens, and is very understanding. I have recommended many people to her, which, they are ALL satisfied!!!!
Doesn't look at the whole picture of her patient. Office gossip
This doctor gives medication that is not covered by insurance and then will not change the medication. She does not return phone calls and leaves the office with open items need attention on a Friday!!! Stay away!
I had my first visit with Dr. Kaushik and it will be my last. I had to change drs for my pain management due to a insurance change. She hardly looked at my records that I had brought in from my previous dr. She didnt do any of the proper manipulations of an impaired SI joint and said my pain was muscular. She said next time I come in we are going to do trigger point injections. My previous dr. told me do not let her do any injections on you. Never Again!
Excellent! I am an RN (w slight OCD tendencies) & extremely particular about my care. Dr Kaushik is meticulous, knows exactly what she's doing, & performs procedures w precision. She has done quite a bit of teaching w me, prescribed medications for me, & given me both facet & epidural steroid injections many times. Each and every thing she has done for me has been helpful, w absolutely no negative experiences or side effects from treatments. Shes a rare find, who I hope never retires!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
