Dr. Kent and his staff are absolutely wonderful. From the moment you check in to the time you leave Everyone of his staff was super friendly. Dr Kent is fantastic. Very thorough and has a great personality. I highley recommend Dr.Kent

Condescending Overall his office did well. They did a more comprehensive test than others. But he seems quite condescending and like he was talking down on me and being a bit pretentious. Wasn’t too compassionate about my suffering.

Worst experience ever!! Rude, condescending , absolutely no bedside manner and I mean none. The office staff, except for one lady, have the same attitude. They are all miserable. They need a class in customer service.

Dr Kent is an outstanding eye Doctor - my husband has macular degeneration and he has cataracts -no other eye Dr would do it but Dr Kent said he would - it is a miracle he could never read a chart and he can in his peripheral vision now - we are very thankful for him.

I’ve never left a review for a doctor before. But after my experience with Doctor Kent, I feel compelled to. Like others have shared, I wish I would have read the reviews about him before wasting my time. Dr. Kent was the most rude, arrogant, condescending doctor I’ve ever seen! He talked down to me, even raising his voice at me several times. He offered me zero help, wouldn’t listen to me, and made me feel like I was ruining his life just with my presence. I’ve never met a more miserable doctor in my life. Clearly he’s forgotten what the actual job of a doctor is. I’m genuinely shocked that he still has a job with the countless others who have experienced similar treatment by him. Completely unacceptable. Please don’t waste your time. Find someone else!

I would NOT recommend going to see Dr. Kent. It was like taking your car to a roadside autobody shop rather than a dealership. Worst experience! Has no idea what he is doing and due to this lack of confidence, acts arrogant and rude to justify. Needed to go to another Dr to reevaluate what he failed to accomplish.

I should have read his reviews prior to allowing my father to proceed with him. He has the worst attitude I have ever experienced as a professional! Not to mention, my father had to have his eye redone by another Dr. due to the lack of thoroughness from Dr Kent. Couldn't agree more with the remarks of him being condescending and arrogant! Maybe the lack of being confident in his work makes him feel that way?

Absolutely horrible. He is condescending and arrogant. As a nurse I was completely appalled at the lack of regard he treated me with. I was referred by my optometrist who obviously thought I needed assessed by an ophthalmologist. I will NEVER return. No patient deserves to have their concerns and their optometrists concerns disregarded.

I generally don’t buy too much into bad reviews but this is one time that I should have. I saw him twice and the only reason I saw him a second time was to give him the benefit of the doubt. Each time I saw him he asked me very little about my symptoms, which the doctor should have done, after I gave initial details to the nurse. He asked me what I wanted to do about my dry eyes without giving me any details about what he was seeing with my eyes or what the dry eye tests showed. He put plugs in my eyes which I found uncomfortable to begin with. After a few minutes I asked the nurse if he could remove them. He refused and in what I felt was an unprofessional told told me to sit down and close my eyes in the waiting room. The discomfort was was so bad that I had to ask somebody in the front office to help. Finally, after he was told by the office coordinator to remove the plugs, he obliged. She was super nice, apologized and told me I could see a different dry eye specialist I’m the office. Never before have I felt so horrified at a doctor appointment. Not only was he nasty about me wanting to get the plugs out, he seemed very rushed in checking my eyes out and with putting the plugs in to begin with. I have heard great things about the other doctors at the practice so I may go back in the future, just not to Dr.Kent.

Poor chair side manners. He is condescending and rude but his staff was good. He is not the warm caring doctor if you are expecting that. I’m in healthcare myself so know this is not normal.
